That was just unnecessarily rude. Personally, I find the musical tastes of most people on here that post music to be very boring and stuck in the past (most of the music posted here is at least 35 years old and very mainstream). But I don't insult them over it. I don't even say anything at all about it.

Most newer music sucks, that's probably why. (Although, I've heard this argument for the last 15 years).

Mainstream popular music, yes. There's always great music being made, like always, you just have to look past the mainstream corporate stuff.

Meh. I don't have that much time to search for "new" music. That's why I just play what I know/like here. If I find a new good song, I throw it up :). Billie Eilish is pretty good as far as new artists go. But I'm off topicing the OP now.

Fair enough. I mostly use YouTube and Spotify to discover new music (both new releases and artists I haven't heard before) so it's fairly easy for me. I found a great newer band the day before because YouTube recommended a live video of theirs to me, and now I'm really into them. YouTube and Spotify have replaced word of mouth and magazines for breaking new music these days.
