This depends on exactly what you mean by "creator." To clear things up for me, please answer this...

Would you consider a creator of the world in which your dream self roams while you sleep?

Yes, I do

I think there is more to reality than our little universe

Big as it seems, I don't think it's the whole story

I believe it was created out of nothing, by The Supreme Being exercising his divine creative agency

I believe The Supreme Being pre-exists the creation of this dimension of reality

And I think it's entirely likely that he has always existed, which is not something we humans with our limited brains are at all able to comprehend

Some things we just have to accept as mysteries!

Could be, or couldn't be. The world seems to be self sufficient, either way.

Until I get an answer (of which I doubt I ever will), I can't put my weight behind a god concept that doesn't have any hard evidence to back it up.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

Nope.

Givin the ongoing processes of the natural universe minus any ideological interpretation and wishful thinking of what we see and understand, there's really no valid reason out there to even concider it as even being plausible.

Nothing my eye, Something for sure
How about an unconscious force that produces life, created by conscious forces?

All of life is along for the ride in the universe. Existence advanced to creating self aware beings of mind, heart, and independent will. That's no small feat.

My question is how much further can existence advance itself? Or is this the peak of its advancement?

Please allow me to take it a step further. Does your dream self believe that the you sleeping in your bed created the dream?
Oh this is deep

I believe the spiritual world is pure energy, whereas visible matter is the heaviest part of this energy...and is absolutely random and chaotic.

That is why evolution is random. I believe nature is perfect in God's mind, but in reality it is not.
Nature is struggle, is chaos.

I’m afraid my answer to your question isn’t quite so black and white as a yes or no. There is no point in my answering if we’re not talking about the same concept of “creator.”
