OK...went to Dell for Cyber Monday deals....

I can spec out a workstation that is more powerful, with more stuff in it, than any workstation they have in their cyber Monday deal thingy...the ONLY thing is that the Cyber Monday workstation is a small form factor and the one I speced out is a tower...and it is cheaper by $200

oh, and the hard drive in the one I set up is 1TB...in their deal it is 512GB.....I could add a second 512GB drive to the one I set up and still be cheaper than thier "deal"

many moons ago...it was in the month of October...I was in Sears looking at TVs. I found one for $$550...I did not buy it... I happened to be in Sears at Christmas time and the same TV was there....marked down $300 from its original price.....however Sears was saying the original price was $950 at that time.....so it was a deal at $650
