The record and the reality. Bidens promises.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
With one hand tied behind his back - sure he will do all that he wants to achieve.
Well he's pissed off AOC. Its a great start to see if there is some blue dog in him. A bipartisan reign won't give one everything one wants, but dosent leave one without either.

Perhaps a sign of hope there, as a compromise governance means the political machine can come to life with a degree of unity.

His presidency just seems so stifled in so many ways as to not make it possible to effect significant change, but I suppose time will tell.

If they go for big time gun control, look out.

What sig changes would you hope to see?
Not sure there will be any, and my hopes are more in the dream realm given that they won't likely come to pass in the next several decades if they come about at all, but which would include - less influence from religions, less gun ownership, a better health care system, and a more equitable society, with less influence coming from the wealthy and/or powerful - but all that is unlikely. I don't follow US politics sufficiently to have any concrete aims as to what might be possible or likely. I'm not that interested in UK politics either.

What is done to try to get there is key i think.
In general, social engineers are toxic.

Where would social media be with out them..
Social engineering is everywhere
especially where there is money to be made
the GOP and the NRA excel at using it.

Honestly I'm more worried about Harris than Biden. At least Biden's history includes reaching across the isle.

Well I should perhaps have used the word constrained more than stifled, given that the Democrats will not likely have enough clout to make any major changes, but it's likely that cronyism is going away with Trump at least, and actual qualified people are getting the jobs.

I'd like to think that but..
