The Non-existent Voter Fraud.

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 27, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) ― On Friday, the United States Supreme Court declined to intervene on behalf of a Nevada church challenging the state’s ban on religious gatherings of more than 50 people while casinos are allowed to fill with thousands as long as they are at 50 percent capacity.
Is that the best you can do? If that is the most egregious violation of religious rights you can come up with, then you really don't have much of a case.

In any case, since you cited a court decision, please give the jurisdiction and case number so that I can verify that it actually said Nevada casinos could be open at 50% capacity while churches had to be shut down.

ETA I didn't find it on your linked website.

I guess you can say.... "It isn't happening, it isn't happening, it isn't happening...."

It was on national news... if you don't want to believe it... go for it.

You cite an opinion piece from 2013. Did this alleged restriction get revoked during the four years that Trump was president. Did the church take it to court? Surely if it violated the Constitution, the regulation would have been overturned.

In any case, your article is so vague that it would not be possible for me to find out the facts behind the allegation.

Again, is this the best you can come up with?

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Since America is now great again, as promised, we should not see practices common in banana republics, which are not that great. Including voting frauds, and presidents not accepting democratic results. But I am just a European outsider, so maybe I am missing something, about this newly re-acquired greatness.

We certainly have a lot of bananas here. Both sides of the isle.

All that can be done about it, is to listen to Harry Bellefonte.

You asked for examples.... even if it was overturned, does that negate that it was still there?

Of course, we know that it isn't real and only localized because there are only a .000001 percent of the population that have that mentality.

Pair Charged With Voter Fraud Over Scheme Involving Homeless And Voter Registration Forms | The Daily Wire

"8,000 fraudulent voter registration applications"

Of course, that is only applications so we KNOW it doesn't mean that there are fraudulent votes coming into the system. ;) Because voter fraud doesn't happen.

I wonder how many people don't get caught?
From your own source:

" No votes were ever actually cast,” the report says. “The registrar caught on quickly and flagged the applications so nobody actually voted.”"

(bolding mine)

An example of failed voter fraud is not evidence for voter fraud in this election.

Are you saying there is fraud? By Trump voters?
There's always fraud during elections (rare because it's a felony). There has never been widespread fraud.
Well... isn't that what we are trying to find out? Do you support an investigation to make sure there isn't widespread fraud?

Obviously the ones that are caught... are caught. But if there is a irrational Trump hater in Chicago, Minneapolis or Atlanta and decides to let it pass? or just "loose" a thumb drive or "forget" to send in the information?

We can always chalk it up as "human error".

Catholic Charities Forced to Shut Down Services around the Country - U.S. News - News - Catholic Online
I gotta ask, again, did you actually bother to read the article or did you just do a headline grab?

KNOXVILLE, TN (Catholic Online) - As of June 1, 2011, unmarried heterosexual couples and homosexuals will be able to legally adopt children and become foster parents in the state of Illinois under its new civil unions law. In response to this new law, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rockford has announced that it will discontinue adoption and foster care services immediately.

Catholic charities (in Illinois) wanted to deny homosexual couples the right to adopt children. So they chose to shut down their adoption services.

Your article is from 2011. Today...
Catholic Charities will work with any US licensed and accredited, non-profit adoption agency that has been approved, or is able to obtain approval from the Illinois ICPC Office in Springfield.

Really, Ken, you gave three examples supposedly to show that American's freedom of religion is being trampled on.

None are valid. Three strikes you're out.

My context has always been... Trump vs what other good choice?

Lacking a better choice, I will follow platform...

1) Originalist and Constitutionalist judges

This is arguable. Trump only supports judges that agree with his version of "Originalist and Constitutionalist" judges.

2) Pro-life

So what? That is only a personal goal of yours. It is not even biblical.

3) Pro freedom of religion and not freedom from religion

You just contradicted yourself. Being Pro freedom of religion also means being pro freedom from religion. Biden is the winner here.

4) Pro reduction of taxes and government

Reduction of taxes is not a good thing if one merely tries to cut taxes. That is all that Trump has. He had not actual reform. Again, Biden wins here.

et al.

Not that any party will do that perfectly but generally speaking.

Generally speaking the Democrats are the superior party right now. Unlike Republicans they are the fiscally conservative ones right now.

What? Of course there is some irrational hatred of Trump, but it is not widespread. You keep trying to claim significant voter fraud and yet cannot find any examples of it. The system works so far. That is what your article showed. Cheating to any significant degree is easily caught and fraud is averted.

Really, now! You want the Catholic church to CHANGE their faith position?

Are you religiophobic? Are you anti-religion? Are you anti-first Amendment?

Here is a thousands of voter fraud in Wisconsin IMV:

“Municipal clerks across Wisconsin issued absentee ballots to voters without requiring an application, in direct conflict with Wisconsin’s absentee voting safeguards,” the campaign said in a news release. “Wisconsin law expressly requires that absentee ballots may not be issued without receiving a written application requesting the ballot.”

Registered Wisconsin voters may request an absentee ballot.

Vote Absentee

If they sent an absentee ballot without the person requesting it... it isn't legal. IMV

I would be no wonder that the Democrats wanted to change the manual on what was legal and what wasn't.

Do you have reliable source for those claims? We know that is what Trump said but what valid sources support this?

You linked to an article from 2011 to try to show that religious rights were being taken away. The article showed that Catholic Charities chose to discontinue being in the adoption business because they didn't want to place children with homosexuals. That was a choice they made.

I showed that they had changed their mind and are again in the adoption business.

So why are you asking if I want the Catholic church to CHANGE their faith position? All I did was correct your intentional misrepresentation of the fact - again.

Are you religiophobic? Are you anti-religion? Are you anti-first Amendment?

How does my correcting your intentional misrepresentations make me any of those things?

Do you suppose that by posting such nonsense allegations it will distract the eyes of the peanut gallery away from your deceitfulness?

IMV? Your View. Well, your view, AKA your opinion, is really not germane to anything, is it?

I guess you could call Rudy Giuliani and have him file another legal challenge. So far the score is 28 adjudications against Trump; one for Trump.

But don't get discouraged. Keep sending money to Trump to help him file more lawsuits.

Nah, I'm just kidding. By now even you must know where that money is going.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-11-13/trump-hits-up-donors-for-court-fight-funds-he-can-use-elsewhere
President Donald Trump is asking his small-dollar donors to help him pay for legal fees to get courts to overturn the 2020 election results. Yet there is no guarantee the money would be used for that.

Since last Saturday, when the presidential race was called for President-elect Joe Biden, the Trump campaign has blasted out at least 30 text messages to supporters asking them to donate $250 or less to his post-election effort to challenge the results.

Some of the appeals have been sent under Trump’s name, while others have said “DEFEND GEORGIA” or demanded that “MICHIGAN HALT COUNTING VOTES” or simply “ELECTION DEFENSE.”

But a donor would have to give $8,333 before a dollar landed in the Trump campaign’s actual recount fund because of the way donations will be split among the various committees.

The Save America leadership political action committee, which the Trump campaign registered Monday with the Federal Election Commission, gets 60% of every small-dollar donation, according to the fine print on emailed fundraising solicitations, with the Republican National Committee’s general operating account getting the remainder.

What did P. T. Barnum say about suckers?

I was actually surprised to read (on the CNN I believe) a member of the GOP using the same fruit analogy, when addressing Trump refusal to accept defeat.

Not only was he caught, he was bound to be caught. He used the same address on thousands of voter registration applications.

Now he faces 15 years in prison for attempting to impact 0.02% of the votes in California, a decisively blue state of 40 million people.

Was it worth it?

By the way, as long as we are entertaining this “Fraud of the Gaps” argument: why are we not catching more cases of voter fraud in favor of Trump? I wonder how many MORE aren’t getting caught faking ballots for Trump, since there has been even less scrutiny of those cases.

See how the “Fraud of the Gaps” argument doesn’t work?
