What Will you do After Trump Wins the Election?

I already decided to leave the country. The goal is this being the last presidential election I cast a ballot in.

Well, you could always commit a felony.
My son is a convicted terrorist so he don't get to vote.
Although if the Democrats win, I believe they are trying to allow convicted felons to vote.

They are citizens, they pay taxes, they have the right to vote. Unfortunately it is denied to many. They paid their debt to society. It is past time we honor that.

The idea is more to be able to make income and not worry about the cost of my healthcare. And be where people are less destructively selfish.

Probably just sit back with a bag of popcorn and watch chaos unfold on t.v., while everything goes on much as it always has in my neck of the woods.

That said, we did have a bunch of racist flyers plastered around the area, and they even pelted my building with them. Those happened around the time of charlottesville. Interesting that their activity lessened when the riots started to grow in frequency.

So, US politics has managed to drag the Democrats closer to the right side?
My frame of reference is the politics of President Eisenhower and senators like Jacob Javits and even Richard Nixon who started the EPA.

It depends on whether or not the Democrats win the Senate. If they do, that will largely contain any further damage that incompetent, psychopathic narcissist could do. If they don't, I'll be looking into a job in another country much more seriously. The United States has been $#%^ed up for decades. I'm getting older. I'm not interested in waiting for this country to get it's #$%^ together when virtually every other civilized nation in the world already has it's $#@% together.

When Trump won in 2016 I posted here congratulating Trump supporters and expressing my best wishes for the future.

If Trump wins in 2020, I probably won’t do that again.

Yep, and Republicans are fascist, racist, sexist, blah blah.
"Liberal" is a fair bit to the right of where I am politically.

And I'm glad you've come to terms with the fascism, racism, and sexism of the Republican party. They're also anti-freedom, if it matters.

What will I do? Watch liberals’ heads explode. I have yet to see Trump supporters so full of, and spew as much invective as his detractors. Their hatred for him is so intense their brains won’t be able to handle it if he wins.

Good point.

@Nakosis - the entire mainstream political spectrum in the US is capitalist.

I understand that, just in referring to centrist, you mean US centrist and not the entire political spectrum centrist?

Last time I took the test, I'm dead center of the political spectrum which would mean I'm farther the left than most US Democrats. Although several of the questions were phrased in a way which made it difficult to answer.

I'm not predicting Trump is going to win.

I'm just asking, in case he does, what do you see yourself doing?

Celebrate?
Cry?
Move to another country?
Encourage civil war?
Nothing? Just go on about your life with no changes?
Something else?
Cultivate my garden, as recommended by Voltaire as a way to keep one's distance from the affairs of politics, and put a date in the calendar four years hence.
