Can One Get Into Heaven If Not An Atheist?

If we were to join the gods in a heavenly afterlife, it appears
that we'd only be allowed to join them if we were interesting.
A reasonable criterion would be for one to have eschewed
believing unfounded things about these gods. If one had
foolishly ascribed false traits to them, this could even offend
them, perhaps dooming one to oblivion or worse. Thus
Atheism could indeed be the path to heaven.

I'd put in a good word for you anyway. Having said that, there might be more criteria than just general non-belief, so perhaps I'd need you to put in a good word for me.
I'd put in a good word for both of you,
but I might not be the best reference.

Sounds like an exact description of the Greek gods (at least from what I know about them). I'm sure they'd love you up at Mt. Olympus.

Then I hope my attempt at being merciful and tolerant in this life pays off...

I once had the body of a Greek god.
Alas, now it's just the body of a goddam geek.

I believe the following:

Premise gods are in Heaven - false premise
Premise gods care if people are interesting - false premise
no conclusion but it would be false even if there were one.

Premise angering gods is a criteria for not entering Heaven - false premise
Atheists don't anger gods - veracity unknown
Conclusion Atheists get into Heaven - false because the premise is false.

I could give you a good word if I thought it would help. The question is: Why do you want to go there?

To me, the premises aren't even false.

I do not believe that there is a them, only a one true God who rules the heavens and the earth, so if you get in good with Him, you're in! :D
