Magical Mystery Tour

So, you have a $10,000.00 limit on your Visa. Your employer is very liberal and cooperative and you can take a month from work at a moment's notice. The world is yours to explore.

Where would you go?

I love a lot of things about Japan. I'd probably like an area like Tokyo. I once had an online friend who was very liberal who decided he didn't want to live in the US any more so he learned a lot about Japan and moved there.

Home.

I don't like spending money I've yet to earn.

I'd start with italy for 10 days then a couple of stops in India and finish off with a visit friend's in HK before flying home.

But not on credit.

I've done the debt thing. Not a fan of paying interest.

I have two such credit cards and have a zero balance on both, and if I do use them, I pay them off on the due date.

The card companies don't like me very much.

Reads like a fun trip. If you had a great interest rate, would that make it easier to splurge on your CC?

LOL, just forget about the credit card already. You were the big winner on Wheel of Fortune and get to pick your destination. :)

No, i dont so credit. Don't have a credit card. Never had higher purchase loan or mortgage.

If we can't afford it we don't buy it.

I usually reserve my credit card for those times when money is short, then pay it off when money is plentiful. I can see myself using my card to purchase a couple weeks on a tropical beach.

A beach holiday would drive me crazy unless there were near by museum's, art galleries and car race tracks

I have been to the Hawaiian Islands on several trips. I can't explain it, but it puts a zap on my head each time I am there. Everything just slows down and becomes very mellow, very chill.

I think most people would enjoy a beach holiday. The only one i tried i was bored out of my skull (see avatar for proof ;-) and wound up exploring the local forest

Yep, you probably wouldn't enjoy vacationing on an island. There is a limit to what you can do. It is mostly for the sun, beach, palm and coconut trees, trade winds, and relaxation.

hmm 10K windfall eh [won the lotto]
well, I would probably just put together a trip into the mountains I look at every day, gold-panning, jade prospecting.....bring the mountain bike and do some of the trails, bring the kayak and shoot a few rapids.... sit on the escarpment in the evening and watch the show....till the supplies ran out, then go home..... hopefully with some dust and nuggets......maybe some jade, and who knows what turns up.....
