After doing social service, do you want reward from God ?

Of course, doing social service is good thing, but, you as a believer want some kind of reward from God after doing that social service ?

If no, its your greatness.

But, if yes, then why ? or because you think God himself isn't capable of doing such a little thing that you did ?

I think it's God working through us / us becoming 'like' God.

Then why don't donate all that you have and feel more good ? :)

It will probably come to that, in some manner. Meanwhile, I think the hermitage, or self-flagellation folks are on the wrong track. It seems “stuff” is in the apprehension of stuff. The underlying truth would appear to be that what is mine is already yours and vice versa, however, a practical imposition of that, at this time, might be a bit disruptive. Give it time. We live a process we don’t quite understand, but there are clues. I perceive that while one peanut butter sandwich may be delicious, a hundred may not be.

So, why do you do ?
Because I want to live in a peaceful world that accounts for all rather than that which suits me - and being pro-social, in general, is a better means of achieving such. Hence no specific rewards for myself but for the entire community. When I die I will be donating whatever is left (house and such) to charities.

God needs to reward them better here. It's insanely stressful work, a mountain of paperwork, amd you get to be the bad guy a lot. It also doesn't pay much amd plenty of us make more money doing easier and less stressful things.
