Of course, doing social service is good thing, but, you as a believer want some kind of reward from God after doing that social service ?
If no, its your greatness.
But, if yes, then why ? or because you think God himself isn't capable of doing such a little thing that you did ?
Thank you for your valuable input!I think it's God working through us / us becoming 'like' God.
Why you expecting God will tell you something ?God didn't tell me anything about a reward...
I'm one of the last to know.
So, why do you do ?If you expect a reward it isn't social service but self-service.
Explore please ?I guess if you don't feel rewarded helping others, you pretty much misunderstand the basics.
We are one.Explore please ?
Then why don't donate all that you have and feel more good ?We are one.
I don't need a reward for taking a shower. It just feels good.
Then why don't donate all that you have and feel more good ?
Because I want to live in a peaceful world that accounts for all rather than that which suits me - and being pro-social, in general, is a better means of achieving such. Hence no specific rewards for myself but for the entire community. When I die I will be donating whatever is left (house and such) to charities. So, why do you do ?
God needs to reward them better here. It's insanely stressful work, a mountain of paperwork, amd you get to be the bad guy a lot. It also doesn't pay much amd plenty of us make more money doing easier and less stressful things.Of course, doing social service is good thing, but, you as a believer want some kind of reward from God after doing that social service ?

How will you know when are you going to die ?When I die I will be donating whatever is left (house and such) to charities.
Then why NOT we name it as selfless-service ?What's to debate? A social service is a selfless act.
