Yeah, that's why I do it!

It happens to be true that I really did think they must be gay when I first heard of them - and it has the fabulous bonus of being the sort of thing they themselves would hate to be associated with.

Perfect, really. :D

Here's another picture of the sort of thing (I nearly wrote thong) I thought they must be:

I have to admit that when I first heard of them I assumed, from the name, that they must be some sort of Gay Pride society. I imagined them all with moustaches, strutting, in leather caps with chains, in a Mardi Gras procession. Or something along those lines.

Apparently, I was wide of the mark. :D
They could be in extreme denial.

During last night's debate between Biden and Trump,
  • "...Trump was confronted by Biden about his leniency toward white supremacists and right-wing militias, and he was asked by moderator Chris Wallace to publicly condemn them. He didn’t do that, although he did address one such group, the Proud Boys. He said:

"Proud Boys stand back, and stand by, but I’ll tell you what, somebody’s got to do something about Antifa and the left because this is not a right wing problem this is a left wing." Who are the Proud Boys?
That's the first time I ever heard of them. Now, my curiosity is piqued. Who are the Proud Boys? I start here:
  • Proud Boys
    • "Established in the midst of the 2016 presidential election by VICE Media co-founder Gavin McInnes, the Proud Boys are self-described “western chauvinists” who adamantly deny any connection to the racist “alt-right,” insisting they are simply a fraternal group spreading an “anti-political correctness” and “anti-white guilt” agenda."
    • "Their disavowals of bigotry are belied by their actions: rank-and-file Proud Boys and leaders regularly spout white nationalist memes and maintain affiliations with known extremists. They are known for anti-Muslim and misogynistic rhetoric. Proud Boys have appeared alongside other hate groups at extremist gatherings like the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville. Indeed, former Proud Boys member Jason Kessler helped to organize the event, which brought together Klansmen, antisemites, Southern racists, and militias. Kessler was only “expelled” from the group after the violence and near-universal condemnation of the Charlottesville rally-goers."
Gee, they're "good ol' boys" ... :D:D:D

What exactly are they proud of?

I saw the Good Ol' Boys in The Blues Brothers.

The whole sordid affair summed up here...

Biden can't even provide a name of a specific group that is behind the proud boys and is equally dismissive at recognizing Antifa as nothing more than an idea.

And people here are accusing Trump of things when Biden is just as bad himself?
I would surmise the late Mr.Byrd taught Biden well in the art of dismissivness and hypocrisy.

The Proud Boys are a specific group. What is it you want to know?

False equivalence seems to be your go-to tool in the Trump Blindness Syndrome toolbelt.

Biden repeatedly denounced violence and rioting, and did so again in the debate. And yes, Biden said that Trump's FBI director said Antifa is an idea, not an organization. This is factually correct. The FBI director said that. It does not make Biden "as bad as Trump", sorry, it just makes him more accurate.

Anyone else that says Antifa is an idea, or is it only the director saying that with Biden singing in concert that Antifa is just an idea?

I don’t know.

I only know that Biden said something factually true and pertinent about Antifa while also unambiguously condemning violence.

Trump on the other hand ... not so much.

Comparing the two, as usual, is like comparing apples to racist fascist oranges.

Why do you ask? Would the answer make Biden “as bad as Trump”? Again: if that is your refrain, look inward.

Its ok if your in denial about Biden. I think the two while at odds with each other, are perfect mirror images nonetheless.

They might actually be a group of good, open-minded dads and schoolteachers for all we know, who only seek to denounce violence and destruction by the radical left.
Maybe. But Trump was asked a pretty specific question about white supremacists and far-right militias.

Why isn’t that a softball question? “I condemn violent white supremacists”. Easy. This question is a slow pitch down the center of home plate ... unless you’re kind of a racist. Which Trump is.

Here’s a fun game. The following quote, do you think it’s real or fake?

“I've condemned it [violence] across the board ... Joe Biden still hasn't condemned the far-left folks coming out and protesting and using violence. ... Yes, I do condemn violent white supremacists and violence no matter who it is.”

What do you think Cooky? Twilight Hue? Trump would totally say this right?

Oh wait actually that is what Biden said when he condemned Antifa. Oops!

Biden condemns Antifa, violence 'across the board' amid riots | Fox News

But Trump definitely thinks this and is the same as Biden, clearly.
