Unusual Pets

Do you think they are a good idea?

Keeping raccoons...foxes...pigs...boars...as pets?

I think it is not that bad. Any animal can be domesticated.:)
I have a neighbor who lived next to me, who was taking a shower with a crocodile
What a beautiful pictures in your thread. Sadly, I can't show you one of the crocodile having a shower

I've never seen a racoon in the wild.
That's unfortunate.
In their natural habitat they're super interesting and playful.

But not in a home. Altogether too human, they just can't be trusted. Anything they can't break they'll eat.

Where I live there's lots of the little rascals.

Pangolin. Looks kind of like a dinosaur / Pokémon.

Yeah, they're walking spruce cones, but I wasn't aware anyone had them as pets.
Cougars, though....

I already know Messi the cougar.
Speaking of Russia...do you know Stëpan the bear?
I wish I could keep a bear like Stëpan:p

Yikes! I don't know if I'd be able to afford to feed something so big.
Something smaller, maybe:

My other half follows Messi on Insta. He is so beautiful but what compels someone to have a frickin mountain lion in their house?

A watch-cat?
I'll bet they can leave all their doors and windows unlocked while they're at work, with no fear of burglars.:D

Falling asleep with a giant, purring cat in my bed is definitely on my list
:p
... und mit einem fetten Kater aufwachen ist nicht auf meiner Liste.

In German a hangover is called a "Kater", literally, a tom-cat.
So waking up with a fat tom-cat in Germany is not pleasant.

Also ist der " Kater " ein Mann mit dem Bierbauch?
