"One of the strategies they used to gain the girls' trust was for the kidnapper, a Muslim man, to tell the Christian girl he loved her and wanted to convert to Christianity for her. They would start a romantic relationship until, one day, they would decide to 'escape' together. What the girls do not know is that they are actually being kidnapped." — Former Egyptian human trafficker, World Watch Monitor, October 5, 2017.

MSM mostly ignores this because it's not politically expedient. Which fact disgusts me.

However, google has countless articles about it from various sources. Including one from the Washing times and Fox news. I don't know how mainstream I have to get in order to please you but whatever. I have feeling you'll only believe things from CNN or something.

SMITH: Escalating violence against Coptic women and girls

Are you saying these girls deserve it because they're stupid?
How is this "unimaginable"?
Read the last chapter of Judges. This is how the Benjamites replaced their women. Women who'd been slaughtered by other Israelites.

FYI: OP article is published by .... ta-da-ta-dahh! Gatestone Institute - Wikipedia

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and former national security advisor, John R. Bolton, was its chairman from 2013 to March 2018. Its current chairman is Amir Taheri.

Gatestone is an anti-Muslim group. The organization has attracted attention for publishing false or inaccurate articles, some of which were shared widely.

Right, comparing modern countries to the bronze age is the best light you can put on this. I'm guessing it wouldn't be so easy to write off if it was your family member or maybe you yourself that this happened to.

Really it's genocide by Muslims against Coptics.

One of the very worst aspects of Abrahamic religion is the tendency to drag primitive ethics into the modern world. But that isn't limited to Islam.

And, yes of course, this is an ugly crime. Altogether too many of those in the world.

The percecution of Coptic Christian in Egypt is indeed a well known prroblem and a persistent stain on Egypt's already terrible human rights records. It especially got worst for the Copt following the civil war in Syria, the regular attacks of Israel against Gaza and domestic instability following the Arab Spring as terrorist spillovers and economical and political problems mounted up in Egypt. The kidnapping of Copting girls, while rare compared to other hate crimes like arsons, beatings, church bombing and political violence, is certainly horrible. Crimes against women in general are very common in Egypt often justified under the guise of modesty and morality.

Weren't you stupid when you were teenager? I was. Anyway, it's disgusting even if they are dumb.
Of course I did stupid things. But stupid is as stupid does. Nature dosent get offended with opinions as to weither its disgusting or not. Bear in mind smart teenagers also exist for whom they wouldn't be in that category. They are the ones who come out on top here.

Apparently, six companies own almost all main stream media in the USA.
But that doesn't mean they are all the same or espouse the same values.

One hundred years ago comparatively few cities had six sources of information (six different newspapers). Many had only one.

Or even that, by necessity, all those companies exercise a strong editorial control on those news sources. Some certainly do, but it would be false to say its the case for all, for example the Washington Post is owned by Amazon, but has published several articles very critical of the said company. It also doesn't mean that this influence extands beyond editorials to actual journalistic work. An argument like saying that news source X is unreliable since it's own by corporation X is a genetic fallacy.

Women are lied to, tricked, abducted, raped, and sold into prostitution every day all over the world. Your outrage seems a bit myopic.
