Word is that Judge Amy Coney Barrett is a leading candidate for Trump's nomination for Supreme Court Justice.

Pardon me while I bang a stick against some fences to see whose dogs are out and about. LOL!

My info tells me that Ms. Barrett is a member of People of Praise, a Roman Catholic Charismatic community: FAQ | People of Praise Neat! I personally know some members--if they're still alive--who became members of the POP community back in 1976, or thereabouts, when a good portion of the RCC community, John the Baptist, in San Francisco California, up and moved to South Bend, Indiana, in response to "the Lord's calling". If Ms. Barrett is nominated and confirmed, I suspect the United States and the Supreme Court are in for a real treat. ;)

For the benefit of the ignorant, RCCs in general and POP members in particular believe in "the gifts of the Spirit": Spiritual gift - Wikipedia

How soon after she's confirmed does Roe get overturned, you think?

The first argument, in Nov. to be heard concerns health care and who will loose their health insurance. There is much more that hangs in the balance. Depending on the outcome of the election Dems may have the option of adding to the number of Justices to balance the Court. Apparently, Trump is looking to the Court to guaranty his 2nd term.
