he has a whole site about calling himself the Christian Atheist. I ran across him on facebook and looked at is videos where he explains his belief in God. So hy does he all himself the Christian ATheist if he believes in God?

To me it's a fraud, he's leading people to believe he's still an atheist when he's teaching about believing in God!

Anybody that liberally uses 'Doctor' in a religious or related setting should be viewed with a microscope and a grain of salt.

From what I've seen Christian Atheism is about Jesus not being God. So they lack the belief that Jesus was God. Jesus was a human rabbi. So Jesus is still central, his teachings are. He is not seen as anything other than human though.

So they don't necessarily say there is no God, they are just saying Jesus wasn't one.

Yeah, I started watching a video of him, and right off things didn't match up. He's basically an atheist who got "saved". That is not a Christian Atheist. He's a theist. I agree. He's just trying to use that as a sales pitch to evangelize people. Typical disingenuousness with proselytizers.

BTW, I know Christians who are atheists. They go to church and everything. Play in the church band, etc. They public say they don't believe in God, but they find good in the Christian faith.
