I've only known him a couple weeks, but he was an interesting
guy, & fellow antique machine tool enthusiast. He also worked
in aerospace (as did I) back in Californiastan. We both did flight
controls, but his work was far more sophisticated.
He had 2 bouts of pneumonia earlier this year, his heart was
tired, & his kidneys were failing. But he was feeling good,
& was only 90 years old. He had big plans to carry out still.
I count myself lucky indeed to have gotten to know him,
& work on a museum project together.
My advice....
Carry out your plans. Ya never know when the fickle finger
of fate will decide to**** you up mess with you. Enjoy life.
