Senator Rand Paul Attacked After Presidents Acceptance Speach

It’s great that Senator Paul was unharmed, thanks to police keeping him safe from a possible threat and not escalating the situation, instead of shooting him seven times in the back.

Bingo! Privileged and shelter white boy doesn't know what it's like to be the object of hate. He doesn't know what opposition looks like. He saw anger and hate, he was the target of it, and he got scared 8n such a new environment. I have no doubt he did fear for his life. Just as I doubt he's ever actually seen an angry mob intent on violence.

The interesting about this is that Rand Paul coauthored a bill with Breonna Taylor's name to put an end to no knock raids. What actually happened was a bunch of people who didn't understand what is actually going on surrounded him with the say her name mantra.

The fact of the lack of violence other than a police officer shoving a protester and the protester shoving back. Literally that was it. That makes them thugs?

Show me in this video, just give me a minute and second on where this violence occurs.
The violence was minor....a shove & stumble,
but the hostility & potential for more violence
were great. I wouldn't want to have been in
that crowd. Particularly since I can't legally
carry in DC.

The deadly violence we saw overnight in Portland is unacceptable. Shooting in the streets of a great American city is unacceptable. I condemn this violence unequivocally. I condemn violence of every kind by any one, whether on the left or the right. And I challenge Donald Trump to do the same. It does not matter if you find the political views of your opponents abhorrent, any loss of life is a tragedy. Today there is another family grieving in America, and Jill and I offer our deepest condolences.

We must not become a country at war with ourselves. A country that accepts the killing of fellow Americans who do not agree with you.

Fact check: Joe Biden has condemned violent protests in the last three months

Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people—does not even pretend to try. Instead he tries to divide us. We are witnessing the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort. We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership. We can unite without him, drawing on the strengths inherent in our civil society. This will not be easy, as the past few days have shown, but we owe it to our fellow citizens; to past generations that bled to defend our promise; and to our children.

Throughout the whole thing. Violence takes many forms. Like Rev said, the far left has empathy only for their own.
Generally speaking.
I do know some far lefties who are fine people,
whose fundamental values hold steady.

I didn’t mention Biden. I mentioned the “far left.”

Ah. Fortunately the far left thugs do not occupy the White House or have a candidate in the running, unlike the far right thugs.

Thuggery and intimidation are unacceptable. Far left thugs included. I am glad Senator Paul is okay.
