Is there any scientific evidence that murder and/or cannibalism existed among Homo habilis, homo erectus or Archaic Homo sapiens?

The ones that died naturally I'm talkin bout

In the case of the article I quoted it was people who were killed than eating following what probably was a territorial dispute. Of course, there certainly was cases of "survival cannibalism" where you eat your dead to avoid starvation.

Interesting that they they can't prove that it's territorial because the Cannibals and victims came from the same clan presumably.

Well they ruled out survival because they said it happened over a long period of time so you'll have to ask them

Generally speaking, we seperate cannibalism in three wide category : psychosis (someone bust a fuse and eats people), survival (you eat people else you starve), ritualistic cannibalism (you eat people, often enemies or children, for religious reasons).

I would say that survival is momentarily Bustin a fuse as well. Maybe not a bust maybe just a short circuit

Talking about it makes me sick

It's matter of perspective, convinced catholics do it every weekend thanks to the miracle transubstantiation. It was also a staple of religious rites in the pre-colonial America. Many believed you could absorb their strength and quality through flesh eating.
