If there were other planets, one or more, that might be habitable for humans but with many difficulties, and not so heavenly as Earth (in comparison), would you decide to go rather than stay on a decaying and perhaps overcrowded Earth - given that travelling to such wouldn't take up all your life getting there (technology advancing to do this)?

Yes, I know it is probably unlikely for a long time, if ever, so just a thought experiment. And also given that we get a choice rather than this being enforced.

I've always considered it quite presemtuous that humans think they have the right to travel off to other planets without permission.

The inspired scripture in the Bible states that Jehovah God gave the earth to humankind, and put all living creation on the earth in the care of humans. It no where indicates that humans have been given permission to habitate other worlds elsewhere.

In any event, of course not. Jehovah is about to do away with all human governments and restore peace to the earth in a wonderful paradise.

Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more;
You will look at where they were,
And they will not be there.
11 But the meek will possess the earth,
And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

Pslam 37:10, 11.

The allowance of evil is temporary. Evil will not be allowed beyond the confines of earth. Most everyone who has ever lived will be resurrected in paradise and taught the truth. And all will be given the option to live forever in peace or to rebel. Most will chose life. Some will chose death. The choice is and has always been yours. Every human who has ever lived will eventually know who God is for better or worse, even those who died with no clue.

Where does the Bible forbid leaving planet Earth?

As for the heavens, they belong to Jehovah, But the earth he has given to the sons of men.
-Psalm 115:16.

What would you call it if you went onto a property you did not own without permission? Is it not trespassing? God has given the earth to humankind. But the heavens belong to him. If you want to prance around in the heavens he has created you should get permission from him first. That is up to him to grant it or not. It is also up to him to decide what to do with those who trespass into what does not belong to them.

I don't directly argue against you. But I have a question.
Do all other planets, stars, galaxy belong to heaven, or to the human realm universe?

It's a question I've pondered myself. I think it seems logical that God may allow travel within our own solar system without hindrance. Such as has already been done, such as man going to the moon and sending satellites to the other planets. But we don't know for sure.

In the Bible the heaven, or heavens, can refer to 3 things: (1) the sky (our atmosphere), (2) the universe - that is, the physical cosmos and everything contained within it, and (3) the spiritual realm. This passage is referring to the universe that contains all the other stars, planets, and galaxies. They all are Jehovah God's. So is the earth. We are told in the Bible that he has given the earth to humans. With the expectation that we take care of it, and the plant and animal life on it. He will soon rid the earth of everyone ruining it and will leave peaceful humans that will take care of it properly.

Perhaps you did not understand the question?

Where does the Bible state humans are FORBIDDEN from leaving the Earth?

Your answer is similar to what I thought for my self a few years back, any my conclusion lays close to your number 3 choice :) to me heaven is in the spiritual realm :)

Perhaps not. There is no passage in the Bible. It does show us that mankind has ownership of the earth granted to us by God as you were shown. And that the rest of the universe is his. I did answer you though. It is up to him to decide whether to allow you to travel beyond earth. It would be absurd for me to go beyond that. I am no one to state what God will do.

I have considered the possibility, once God has ridden the earth of all wicked mankind, and far into the future when mankind is brought back to perfection and lives forever that he may seed other parts of the universe with humankind. But that is just wild speculation.

You whole claim that humans are not to leave the Earth is nothing more than your opinion.
An opinion NOT supported by the Bible.
As you have just demonstrated.

Quite to the contrary. I said it would be presumptuous for us to presume we could leave earth as if we had the right to without permission. That is the very first line of my first post. Presumptuous means:
  • Going beyond what is right or proper; excessively forward.
  • Going beyond the limits of propriety or good sense in thought or conduct; exhibiting or marked by presumption; overbold; presuming; arrogant.

In the Bible all the mandates for humankind from God have been recorded. For example it tells us:

"And God went on to create the man in his image, in God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.  Further, God blessed them, and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving on the earth.”-Genesis 1:27, 28.

No where in this mandate for humankind is God telling humankind to populate anything but the earth.

Another scripture tells us:

"For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else."-Isaiah 45:18.

Notice I never claimed we are not to leave earth.

On what basis do you presume the economic system on these other planets is capitalist; "private property" being a feature of such? Have the aliens read Adam Smith?

The universe is God's. The earth is right now in Satan's control. Captaltisim is one of man's schemes under Satan's rulership. It is not of Godly origin. And will no longer exist in the new world when human rulership is done away with.

If capitalism will not exist on earth, and money will be a thing of the past, certainly it will not exist anywhere else.

As for ownership. God himself gave ownership to humankind of the earth. And even in the Mosaic law he apportioned out the land to families to own and live on. In the new world he will no doubt give everyone their own plot of land to own and to live on:

They will not build and someone else have occupancy; they will not plant and someone else do the eating. For like the days of a tree will the days of my people be; and the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full.-Isaiah 65:22.
