Evangelism and Hypocrisy

Why would a group who worships God and/or Jesus promote hypocrisy?
Though not the best of what God wants, apparently it is common but Paul didn't care:

Phil 1:14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

God has a way of turning lemons into lemonade.

God isn't a an anthropomorphic thing from afar as jesus so often experienced and described. jesus let the pharisees know in no certain terms with the seven woes.

Hypocrisy is what service to self is all about. He who loves theirs more than me, is not worthy to enter the kingdom of God. If them and theirs are good enough, they can have a lesser version of the fullness of God

" God isn't a an anthropomorphic" -- says who?

My point is simply that Paul had the same type of people but as long as the word was preached he didn't care. God turns the lemons that man does and makes lemonade out of it (makes something good even when what we give is bad)

the current situation of evangelicals promoting trump....
Why is that hypocritical? It's not as though anyone believes in Trump, or believes him. He's just the lesser of two evils.

Just consider the hypocrisy of Jo Biden. He pretends he's a Catholic but embraces abortion. For that reason he was denied mass in 2019.

"Canon 915 positively requires ministers of holy communion, especially pastors, to withhold the sacrament from Catholics "obstinately persevering in manifest grave sin.” Public support for abortion, its preservation in law, and/or its public funding, are sinful acts under Catholic moral analysis."
The real question is, why would anyone vote for Joe Biden considering he's an A* hypocrite?

I do/did not judge them for promoting hypocrisy, I just answered your question
if a person were going to fall and hurt themselves, it would be cruel not to say something. no judgement needed. a slip hazard doesn't care who you are.

as many as i love i caution

you seem to believe that everyone goes by what a preacher, a pope says. they don't. some people refer to god over the leaders of the congregation. the Spirit of the Law is not written in stone

abortion isn't frowned upon in the bible. the only inference made regarding it, is in reference to someone causing a woman to abort without her consent. basically in a violent situation; otherwise nothing about it.

the fetus is a parasite that needs a host. until it takes the breath of life, it is not considered autonomous.

the extreme right has championed the idea for ages that abortion is awful. the bible doesn't say that and thus promotes a lie. unborn spirits don't inhabit bodies that aren't ready for occupation

i could give a whit about some man made canon. your dog is hunting the wrong prey.

We could have a day job, to warn all those that "fall and hurt themselves".
But I have also discovered that most are not interested in good advice
