Just a few comments:
  1. 3rd Temple is correct since the ones in Elephantine Island and Tel Arad were not the official location and were built after it was already decided that the only official location was in Jerusalem.
  2. There is a possibility for 3rd Temple here in Israel BUT it is pretty clear that before that can happen there has to a pretty high level of return to Torah in the land, there has to be a Sanhedrin (Mosaic Court), A Davidic King who has (נבואה) nevuah, and a complete remapping of downtown Jerusalem.
  3. The ark is not in Ethiopia. I went to Ethiopia and saw the locations where it is claimed to be. They do not meet the standards set by the Torah. I would highly doubt it being in England also.
  4. Also, there is no clear requirement that the implements for the Temple has to be the exact ones from the 1st Temple. I.e. they can be remade for the situation.
There is an organization here in Jerusalem that has been making preperations for when the Temple is restored in Jerusalem. There web-site has interesting stuff. You can see it HERE.

I went to Ethiopia back in 2001. I know of an Ethiopian Jewish scholar who claimed that the Menelik story was invented by Ethiopian Christian rulers to boast their claim to power. I.e. the Jews of Ethopia that I have met never claimed to have had the ark. Also, the history you are refrencing is further in an Ethiopian Christian text called the Kebra Negast. I read it once. It makes a number of claims that don't line up historically or with the Torah.
