Not really a debate, but the other thread in this forum needs this companion.
Do I frighten anyone?
Or at least annoy?

I am afraid of objectivists, not just the Ayn Rand kind, and that includes the direct, indirect, weak and strong kinds.
I know nothing about you, when it comes to that.

QUOTE:

Too many Christian authors have tried to be kind and amiable in an effort to demonstrate that believers don’t have to sink into the mud in order to defend the faith. That tact is very charitable, but unfortunately, it just doesn’t work with bullies.

Today's atheists are bullies -- and they are doing their best to intimidate the rest of us into silence

From the article, these struck me as fun & clever...not bullying.

I'm "dangerous".
Watch out!

I'd pass on the empty calories.
I see, so you just offer these to all the newcomers, because you're trying to get rid of unused surplus from the kitchen you'd never eat yourself? I wonder how many overweight members have you to blame?

Everything I offer is calorie free.

There are a few atheist bullies out there. I also find them tiresome.

But there are far far more religious bullies. There have been for centuries. Even today, there are more religious bullies than the total of all atheists put together.

And I can't help but notice that the arrogant atheists tend to be exbelievers. People who learned how to bully from some religion or another.
