I don't think practicing homosexuals are going to hell or are not going to be saved. I don't get into the nitty-gritty's of whats bad for someone. And I'm definitely not going to give you a number as to how many porkchops, cigarettes, sexual acts, lies, immoral thoughts, days of being lazy etc, it would take for the Lord to decide to send somebody to Hell or to not save them. Furthermore let's just say somebody was going to confess all there sins to Christ as soon as they get home but a drunk driver killed them on the way. What are they out a luck? Do they go to hell? Are they not saved? I'm not gonna live on this earth sitting in that kind of judgment. No way.

Well you might say well since they thought that they were going to confess when they got home, that in a way is already confessing so they will be saved. OK, let's say that they were killed right before that thought would've taken place. Surely this is possible. What then?

I think there are many points on this OP.

1) Have you heard of not being judged for the same crime twice once you have been declared innocent? Well, Jesus paid for all sin and has declared you innocent (2 Cor 5:21) and righteous. So "not having confessed your sins" is not an issue (many other scriptures available). If Jesus has been confessed as Lord, He paid for the sin even before you have confessed it and he presents you before God with joy.

2) If Jesus is your Lord, and you love him with all your heart, why would you desire to continue in that which doesn't please him? (Rom 6:13) - the object isn't just to continue ones life as if we weren't purchased with the price of the Son of God, but rather, because of love, work toward becoming more and more like him.

Jesus said he is coming back to earth to judge the living and the dead. No one will go to heaven or hell before Jesus comes back and judges them. Tha is when it will be decided if they truly repented of sins and are worth of eternal life.
