Jolly good for you
ChristineM, I find this can be jolly good for all of us.
The end of corrupted rule starts because of God's Rule starting ( thy kingdom come.....) Daniel 2:44
The powers that be ( can be political and religious ) will be saying, " Peace and Security...." before the political surprisingly turns on the religious world.
With backing the United Nations can be strengthened and prove to be God's modern day arm of the law to carry out His justice on corrupted religion.
When we hear thunder and see lighting we know a storm is near, that fast the great tribulation (Rev. 7:14,9) can start.
That ' clergy queen ' (Rev. 18:7) who has been in the political bed with the ' political kings ' will be plundered of her wealth.
Perhaps a bad economy could make the wealth the religious world has amassed look like easy taking for the political, even through the banking system.
The figurative ' sheep ' of Matthew 25:31-33,37 will be left standing, this is when the heavenly armies (Rev. 19:14; Ezekiel 38:18-23 ) takes action.
Can be jolly good for all who love righteousness because humble righteous people will survive - Amos 3:7; Psalms 37:9-11,29; Matthew 5:5.

I see a major problem with those who need a god sitting on their shoulder and dictating rules and copying and pasting 2000 year old or more bible verses do justify their disbelief in humanity

Most countries have realised this and removed the church and its god influence from political power for a good reason.

Do you not think all religion is corrupted and corrupts humanity? I do

The religious world has amased wealth in direct contradiction to the teachings of most religious books, mostly taken from the poor who could not afford it but religious dictate demanded their contribution

I find the God of the Bible justifies His belief in humanity. That is why God sent his Son to Earth for us, for humanity.
Even in Scripture the 'church' (religious) was removed (separated) from the political for good reason as per 2 Chronicles 26:16-21.
In other words, the king (political) was Not to interfere with the duties of the priest (religious) and vice versa.

Jesus believed that all religion outside of his teachings did corrupt humanity.
Today MANY call Jesus as Lord but as Jesus warned MANY would prove false.
The 'false' are the ones who are in direct contradiction to demand contributions.
Remember: when Jesus 'passed the plate', so to speak, it was to feed the crowds with bread and fish.

It is now humanity who justifies their disbelief in God.
Humanity in general who justifies disbelief in practicing the Golden Rule.
Humanity in general who are now spiritually dried up.

I find you justify the hypothetical.
