Today, July 4th, I spent a bit of time looking at VoteVets.org | The Voice of America's 21st Century Patriots a progressive Veterans group that advocates for veterans issues. Their web site says: the mission of VoteVets.org is to use public issue campaigns to give a voice to veterans on matters of national security, veterans' care, and every day issues that affect the lives of those who served, and their families.

Their politics is clear from this video:

Ok? What's to discuss? You did say they were a progressive vet organization. Most progressive orgs don't support the current admin, and neither do a lot of vets (myself included).

I should have asked the discussion question for vets on RF to talk about their attitude. And if there were any active-duty military, what the scuttlebutt is.

As far as active idk? I got out a few years ago. I know quite a few vets who aren't happy with the way our administration treats service members, or their families. Military flyovers and the like are seen as charades, and publicity stunts. The VA complaint line at the white house is useles, and the VA needs an overhaul (not privatization).

Edit: I didn't serve in the Navy for 10 years, defending ideals I thought our country stood for (Freedom, expression, and equanimity among all). For our country to elect a Commader-and-Chief who is a narcissist, who draft dodged, and then mocked POWs.
