If there is a Demon then there must be Satan (and also other Demons...)

If there is Satan then there must be God (as Satan is defined by his relationship to God)

Therefore if there is a Demon then there is God

I believe that I am haunted by a Demon

Therefore, for me personally, there is proof towards there being a God

I don't expect people to believe me about this but I hope people will think that this is at least reasonable

I don't know why I'm haunted by a Demon...

But I know that the battle for my mind is only a small part of a much, much greater war

Nope, this is a unsound leap of logic. A demon could be any sort of malign spiritual creature from a wealth of different mythologies. There are demons and demon equivalents in a lot of other religions. It doesn't equate that this particular demon is a creature under the orders of a specific character and from a specific mythology. The rest of your leaps of logic thus falls appart and no it's not a reasonable assertion. There are too many variables you don't account for and that's if we assume you are correct and that you are indeed haunted by a demon.

I was using the term in a specific sense, not a general "any sort of" sense - I used it to specifically refer to a malign spiritual creature who is subordinate to Satan (as defined in the Holy Bible)

You have a very specific knowledge of things that haunt you then. I'm curious to know how you came accross such specific pieces of knowledge and how come you didn't got rid of it earlier considering there is a wealth of methods to chasse or defeat demons in christian mythos.

I gained my current understanding about it from the wealth of interaction I've had with it since its haunting began in 2004. And also from my more general understanding of the world.

Other people whom I respect have re-enforced these notions too.

It lies, in the past it has lied frequently to me and made me into a fool. And it is written that Satan is "the father of lies"

It tries to control my life

And tells me what to think

It pretends to be divine, in the past it said it was "of God" and at other times it was The Holy Spirit

It is definitely wicked, that much is obvious

I don't believe it is some kind of free-lance "spirit" who floats about between people as a way of life - it is my own personal Screwtape

Basically: my whole life experience makes more sense if you believe this demon is a specific type of thing - an entity subservient to Satan.

Because in the past I considered it a benign spirit guide

I thought it was my friend

I'm currently trying to kick it out by sheer will power, and prayer

I believe you, as a demon or ghost doesnt have to be real to haunt you. Once I was in a dream and basically I became paralyzed and I percieved a reaper sprinting at me and the more I tried to move the more I couldn't move, and right before the reaper touched me with his touch of death I stopped struggling and then and only then was I free'd from the nightmare.
