Do you DARE QUESTION GOD????

There are people in this world who blindly accept their Holy Books and Religions to the point where they no longer question. The last person I ran into like this told me their Holy Book came from God, they agree with everything in this Holy Book, and that one should never question God because God knows more than all of us. Do you Dare Question God???

You can tell more about someone through their actions than anything else. Let’s look at this world, God’s creation, and find our answers. We are placed in this world with almost no knowledge of anything. To Question is the start on the journey to Discovery. Since we are placed in this world with almost no knowledge, isn’t there a million questions we have after arriving? Why would God create a world and system that invites Questions then, demand not to be Questioned?? It doesn’t add up. God would not!

Religion has been teaching people to value beliefs above all else from the start. Is this really a good idea? Aren’t facts and truth more important? Facts and truth are important if you want true reality. Beliefs merely point a direction or a possibility by which one can search for the Real Truth.

If one is told their Holy Book and Religion comes from God, should they believe or should they search to Discover the Real Truth? If one blindly accepts, one no longer Questions. If they told you to jump off the Golden Gate bridge because God wants you to come home, would you question them?? I think many would not. Many have died following cults and were told it comes from God. The only ones who do not want you to Question are those who do not want you to know the Real Truth.

The last person who blindly followed told me they can find nothing to disagree with in their Holy Book and Religion. Isn’t this a warning sign that you are no longer thinking for yourself? Real Truth will never always be agreeable. Sometimes Real Truth is going to hurt.

This leads to a million questions. Why do these people blindly follow? Why do they not Question? What about their Holy Book and Religion do they find so appealing that they are blind to everything else?? Why are they choosing to do these things?

A hypnotist told me that no one can be hypnotized unless they wanted it to happen. He said that is why I could never be hypnotized. Free choice is a very important thing. It is far too important to allow others to make your free choices for you, whether it is your Religion or Hypnotist. WE Define ourselves through our choices. This is something we should never allow others to do for us.

So do you DARE QUESTION GOD????? YOU BET YOU DO!!!!! Question everything about God and you will acquire Great Knowledge. God Loves Questions. God is hiding nothing. There is Real Genius behind everything. The answers stare us all in the face, waiting for us to Discover them. Perhaps it’s a test of intelligence. After all, in most educational systems, isn’t there a test of some sort? A True test of intelligence requires Thinking and not one’s ability to memorize, blindly follow, and recite.

God’s Greatest Moment is when that light bulb goes off over one of His children’s head and they Understand. This can be about any subject. It’s not all about Religion. As for myself, I will always Dare to Question everyone and everything. This Hungry Student is going to make that light bulb go off so the Light will Shine!!

That’s what I see. It’s very clear!!

I was raised into it, myself. Many are. But I was a teen when I began learning better, and 20 years ago was in the same "no questions allowed boat," 18 years ago those shackles were shattered (mostly, anyways, its a very long road of getting over all that and truly leaving it all behind).
Ive wondered what everybody else's reasons are (I was also basically traumatized by the church, so that also helped give me a push out the flock).

So often adversity points the direction of our learning. Sometimes the roughest roads will end up with the best view.

I think you are right. There are many in that no questions allowed boat. I point them all in the right direction when I bump into them. I move that grain of sand. It might not make an immediate change in them however it might help when they reach that point of understanding when they start to see and think for themselves again.

Share that which is Special about you and your journey with others. Shine the light in their eyes even if the light might hurt for a bit.

That's what I see. It's very clear!!

Questioning God is questioning their own experiences. All religious go by their experiences (aka what we value is mostly experiential) so people don't question what they feel is 99% correct. Some even add the 1% as faith so one doesn't have doubt.

How do you get people to question their experiences for truth even Their interpretation of scripture without making them feel they are undermining their faith?

I do greatly appreciate that. I have seen far too often from far too many people this idea that escape from it is impossible and such efforts are a waste of time. It's very sad to see that, because many do need out, many just need a gentle, guiding hand to help them out, and I know possible for people to get out of that cult--or any cult--as here I am, a living condition of their claims. But there are still people trapped who will cling onto a lifeline of only someone will throw them one.

I think that one factor might be how religious texts are written in such a way that people can choose to interpret them in almost any way they'd like. Thus when people are 'blindly following the word of God' they are in fact only following what they have already decided they want to do. They will simply convince themselves that any passage from the text that appears to tell them to do something they don't want to can be interpreted in a way that doesn't conflict with what they ultimately desire.

Very good question indeed.

I guess the only answer is to copy God. God places truth all around so that when one is ready to Discover truth, it will be readily available. Move that grain of sand.

Given enough time, living those lessons will bring the experiences necessary to bring one to reality and truth.

You are right. For many there is no short cut.

That's what I see. It's very clear!!

Oh i have so e searching questions if a god showed up such as what's the gig childhood leukemia? Why make a group of people to worship you and create deadly diseases to kill them. Why do you let people who worship you kill other people who worship you in your name?

Yes, an interesting view, indeed. We all know how hard it is to convince someone to do other than what they want to do. So much truth can be ignored because they want their path rather than Truth.

Yes, by all means, they must live it to learn. Still, I think it's important to have truth readily available for when it becomes more important to them.

Oh yes, I did ask this person what about their religion did they like so well that would cause them to ignore so much. I could not get a clear answer. I must have been getting to close to the core issue of it all.

That's what I see. It's very clear!

I never question God.

I do, however, question those humans who pretend they know what God wants, says, thinks, demands, etc.

To me, theology has never been about the "study of God." Rather, it's always been about the study of what people thought when they had questions they couldn't answer, because they lacked the means of inquiry. So they made it up, and then tried -- post-facto -- to make it sound as reasonable as they could. But of course, since there's no actual foundation, the castle is built on quicksand.

Question your lessons without expectation that all will be true?

For an Evangelical Fundamentalist, to question god is to doubt god, to doubt god is to blaspheme god. You say your life is hard, they'll point to Abraham, Noah, Daniel, Moses, and Job. And hkw things are great for them while they are off full and complete trust and faith in god. When they doubt is when things get bad. Jonah was swallowed by a whale. But Job, he refused to doubt, he was rewarded. Abraham who had faith didnt actually have to sacrifice his son and was rewarded. Daniel had faith amd was blessed by god. Moses had faith and favor was shown upon him.
Contrast that with a Jew I met who said only fanatics dont doubt or ask questions.

My Catholic churches had a very similar mindset. Questions weren't necessarily blasphemous, but they were from the devil and should be ignored until they go away. If you questioned too much, you were letting the devil influence you.

I can happily say I now worship the devil that taught me to ask questions.

When one values truth above all else, one can question experiences because it does not matter if beliefs are undermined.

We are Living our Lessons. They are what lead us all forward. Regardless of expectations, understanding should be our goal. If one Discovers they have wandered from the real truth, one only need copy science and correct the errors.

What is the first thing a wise man realizes once he truly becomes wise? Anybody? Anybody? The first thing a wise man realizes once he truly becomes wise is that there is so much more to learn. With this in mind, the questions never stop. Can those who never question be considered wise?

That's what I see. It's very clear!!

OK! OK! Point taken. On the other hand, they do not make one big enough to shine as Bright as I am intending to shine. Besides, there is always a better way to generate light lurking in the future we have all yet to Discover. Hmmm??? Maybe I should start working on that.
