Spirit of Light
Be who ever you want
I think this question can relate to many religioues or spiritual people.
Why is it so difficult to better ourself in our practice but so easy to blame our faults on others or a deity?
Even it is sometimes others who create the difficult situation toward us, is it not our own reaction to the situation that either make us suffer or make us feel no suffering?
My understanding to the answer.
To me the answer is we suffer because of our own karma. And because our virtue is low.
Virtue is a white substans wheras karma is Black substans. ( think yin and yang for those who know these two) to much karma will show as sickness in or on our body.
Someone would maybe call virtue for light and karma for darkness, something i can understand too.
The prosess in removing our karma and recieve virtue is felt by suffering.
I am very aware that religion or Cultivation paths in the West does not speak of karma or virtue this way, but can you find similarities within the teaching in the religion or spiritual practice you do?
