I have to say this is good news. It is about time they get rid of that racist pile of garbage in a suit. One less white supremacist in government is a good thing.

I wish Mr, King a nice peaceful retirement and hope he never participates in politics again.

The Democrats might have had a chance to beat Mr. King in November and thus help flip the Senate blue. Now that will be much tougher, if not impossible, to do. I think the prospect of a Democratic senator, and not his racism, might have been the major reason Mr King's own party leaders came out against him in the primaries.
