I think that some protests are useful, but that the most important thing to remember is that many of us have a strong moral compass, we want change and we want better, but critical thinking skills and other positive measures must also be applied. Just because something is right in some ways, doesn't mean it should be done.
For example, suppose you have a toxic boss that makes 40 employees under him all feel emotionally sick. That doesn't necessarily make it right to say, go up and hit him, even if he deserves karma.
