Quarantined a d controlled but not eradicated. It's been going on for awhile. Our methods and tools are just getting better at what they do.

But then, the anti-vaxers will descend like shrieking banshees and try to dissuade as many people as possible from taking any such thing -- which will, of course, lengthen the time to "herd immunity" and condemn bunches of more people to death.

Did anyone read the article? The vaccine triggers an immune response but they don't know if it will be effective against covid. They also state that a useable vaccine is still a long way off. Add to that this is China we are talking about they tend to emblish their success.
