I'll just send this poem and give you a snippet:

Title: Words of a Grey Witch

You say that darkness is evil.

But empathy comes from sadness,

Anger is passion,

The catalyst for change.

Destruction is needed

To make way for the new.

Death comes to us all,

Might as well try to understand it.

It makes no judgements,

With it comes rebirth.

And where is the line between vengeance and justice?

When you put a killer on death row,

Is it not for society’s benefit?

It does not bring back the victim,

You say that The Old Ones are evil,

But I say to you:

The God of the bible has killed thousands,

Some for as minor reasons as complaining.

And according to Revelation,

,Will kill again.

You could try to justify it,

Claiming that God is perfect,

It is none of my concern.

But I never claimed the same about the gods,

Yes some are killers,

Some are rapists,

Others are sex-addicts,theives, and drunkards.

They are a mixture of good and evil,

Some lean more one way than the other.

Just like humanity, but on a bigger scale,

Want to understand my gods?

Understand the lessons that they teach,

And how their roles are important to the universe.


You say cursing is wrong,

But they who cannot curse cannot heal,

True healing comes from pain,

What lessons have you learned

From happiness and pleasure?

I learned from abandonment,

The value of friendship and family.

I’ve learned from depression,

Hope is not to be lost,

I’ve learned from self-hate,

That love is needed.

If a man was harming people,

I would curse him any day,

So he’ll leave his wallet at a crime scene.


You tell me darkness is evil,

I say,

Without darkness,

Light is nothing.

Don’t get rid of your demons,

But keep them on a leash.

I can imagine that Christianity's black and white view of paganism causes loads of misconceptions.

I completely agree with you on the supernatural.

Is it only those gods that you guys worship or are there others?

To elaborate on the question of magic:

Do you cast spells?
Do you summon creatures or spirits using rituals?
Do you have magical items?
Do you use runes?
Do you practice transmutation and alchemy?
