When God brings judgement specifically or universally, the believers in God are also caught up in it. Daniel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, etc. all went into captivity. And many times the believers will suffer the judgement also. But, there is a difference in that they know God is with them even in that judgement.

No, God is precise in His judgement in it's affect and purpose. And if that judgement is national or universal, the believers in that instance, will suffer the affect of that judgement, being part of the nation or world, but God will be with them.
