Weird....I posted the statues before seeing your post.I would say that the destruction of the Buddhas at Bamyan was an evil act. The destruction of objects of high cultural and historical value can be evil, even if done against inanimate objects.

The UN agrees. Destruction of cultural heritage is a war crime.I would say that the destruction of the Buddhas at Bamyan was an evil act. The destruction of objects of high cultural and historical value can be evil, even if done against inanimate objects.
