Why are so many rightly concerned about the vulnerable old but not the vulnerable young?

Should not the just born and pre borns get the same consideration? Isn't life of value? being made in the image of God?

How does your religious view post see the issue of vulnerable old and vulnerable young?

I am! The schools couldn't close fast enough.

I'm a TA and I'd rather be out of a job and children safe at home than work and put them at risk.

For babies, children, adults health care for all should be a right. But it's not in third-world US health care which throws the poor under the bus when it comes to providing health care.

Vulnerable is vulnerable.
Based on what I've read, and discussions I've had, a healthy child is not vulnerable compared to almost any other group. Obviously not all children are healthy, and there is still consideration of carrying (versus being symptomatic) but is there a particular reason you have highlighted 'the young' as opposed to just...people?

I believe that he is making a jab at abortion rights, with the phrase “just born and pre born” in the OP.

Me too, but I generally find its easier to ask the 'dumb' question and give people a chance to speak plainly.
