Major Tornado Outbreak Expected in the Midwest Tomorrow

Perhaps this has been flying under the radar due to the coronavirus panic.

A major tornado outbreak is expected in the Midwest tomorrow, especially Illinois, a location not accustomed to seeing tornadoes this early in the season. Also of note is that Illinois is under a "shelter in place" law.

Warning: If you live in a mobile home in the Midwest, the tornado threat tomorrow is potentially far higher than that of any virus. DO NOT SHELTER IN PLACE IN A MOBILE HOME OR TRAILER IF A TORNADO IS FORECAST FOR YOUR AREA!!!

Severe weather to slam U.S. midsection, tornadoes possible

to day a heard a phrase I wold have thought I would ever hear: Scattered Tornados.
Thrown right in the weather report like it is a common phrase used all the time.

"severe weather headed our way: Damaging wind, damaging hail, scattered tornados, and heavy rain that may lead to flash flooding."

I was all like, wait...
Did he just say scattered tornados?

I'm sure the local people, and the authorities, will use their common sense about this.
