For Christians. Was the flood real or just a myth?

The bible has evidence accepted by billions of people over the ages. Scientific claims need physical evidence. (not beliefs plastered all over evidence). You have no support for your falsely called science beliefs. Period.

Overruled.

The flood myth is much older than Noah.. The Hebrews learned it during the Babylonian exile and adopted it to their needs.

No. You failed to support dates. Your conspiracy theory has no juice.

Flood stories are recorded in Babylonian and Sumerian mythology and in Dilmun and in Ras Shamra . ALL are a thousand years older than Adam and Eve.

But, for Fundamentalists and those who reject science and education ..

The Flood of Noah’s day (2348 BC) was a year-long global catastrophe that destroyed the pre-Flood world, reshaped the continents, buried billions of creatures, and laid down the rock layers. It was God’s judgment on man’s wickedness and only eight righteous people, and representatives of every kind of land animal, were spared aboard the Ark.

Your so-called dates are unsupported beliefs. These people were post flood. That is why we see you spamming links without trying to support the dates. Not honest debating.

Simple Answer to what I think - Yes!

Why?

And is this what you think?

The bible has claims. Claims aren't evidence, and they certainly aren't evidence of themselves.

Scientific claims need physical evidence

All claims need evidence, if you think rational justification is important.

You have no support for your falsely called science beliefs. Period.
Overruled.

You can scream "overruled" all you want.
It won't change the fact that religious scripture is a collection of claims for which the supporting evidence must necessarily come from other sources.

That is, if you value rationality and avoiding logical fallacies, off course.
But you don't sound like you value such.

Why are you asking to support the dates?

We all know that whatever evidence for the dating is presented, you'll just dissmiss it, whatever it is, with your undemonstrable, unfalsifiable last-thursdayism handwaving.

Don't ask for evidence if you have a priori dishonest determinition to simply reject anything, literally anything, that might be presented, by default.

Bible prophesy was claims. The claims are nor history. That is evidence. Jesus rising from the dead was one of the claims. That is evidence.
Science claims are not evidence. God's claims are.

False. Although billions of people since the time of Christ would testify that they had lots of evidence.

Why are you asking to support the dates?
Because when you try, we see that they inevitably are religious balderdash, all based on beliefs alone.

We all know that whatever evidence for the dating is presented, you'll just dissmiss it, whatever it is, with your undemonstrable, unfalsifiable last-thursdayism handwaving.
Claiming nature was the same is not evidence and is done with no evidence. You squeal for us to blindly accept those beliefs and demand that they be called science or fact. Get over it.
Stop peddling your religion and calling it science.

Just because you declare it so, doesn't mean that it is actually so.
Handwaving away testability with last-thursdayism-style argumentation, isn't a proper refutation of anything.

No.

Science claims are not evidence

Claims are never evidence, no matter if they are scientific or otherwise.
That's a concept that you don't seem to be able to comprehend.

I'll refer you back to @Subduction Zone 's rule number 1.

God's claims are.

Those are the claims of men who claim to be speaking for god.
Not evidence either.

No, correct.

Although billions of people since the time of Christ would testify that they had lots of evidence.

Beliefs aren't evidence either.
Argument ad populum, moreover, is a fallacy.

Projecting.
Claiming that you know what forces and laws existed on earth in the beginning without providing the support is no better than saying the Spaghetti Monster did it. Denying the spiritual as well as Scripture and historical records of the past for no reason is akin to Last Thursdayism.

Sorry, I am a little rusty on those rules was Blasphemy or spamming number one?

Beliefs aren't evidence either.

Beliefs based on proven records and experiences and tests are evidence. Your ceaseless claims of a same state past are not evidence. You have had ample time to provide evidence for what you have portrayed as a science claim, and failed.

Your services are no longer needed.

Good grief.. No flood ever laid down rock layers.

"The rocks found at the K-T boundary, whether they are found in Europe, Canada or the United States, all show a very high level of the element iridium. This iridium layer has been located in over 100 different spots on Earth, both on land and under the ocean."
