Rush Limbaugh has advanced lung cancer

Long long ago, when he came in clearly on the radio, he
had some funny stuff. But I recall one thing positive....
I never once heard him refer to atheists disrespectfully.
But at the time, I remember "so called" & "self described"
being prefixes to "atheist" airing on liberal NPR. He's
rough as cob, but not all bad.

I wish him the best even though I utterly dislike his politics and how he's conducted himself on the radio.

My dad used to listen to Rush quite often, even though he didn't care for him too much. My dad was just as conservative, but he thought Rush was more of an entertainer and a showman. I guess he just didn't like his overall manner, but he would listen to his show just the same.

I still listen to his show on occasion - or at least bits and pieces of it while I'm out driving during the day.

Smoking is an unfortunate self inflicting early death regardless of your choice of weapon.

I have compassion for his unfortunate illness, but none for his groose acrid politics.

I think Limbaugh capitalized on the direction the country was already taking during the Reagan era (a time when Trump's fame also rose).

I've read estimates as high as 25 percent. And cigars have far more harmful products than cigarettes

Rush is the cause. He's the person most RW media gets their talking points from. Then it spreads from there. If there's an issue happening, like impeachment, RW media will wait to create a talking point until they get it from Rush first.
Rush is a drug addict that already lost his hearing from abuse. One thing is for sure, Rush won't be going to heaven when he kicks it.
