If you live in an early state to vote in the Democratic primary, please say your state and who you plan to vote for and why.
I live in Utah, Super Tuesday. I vote in a group; we have to be unanimous I think; but I want to vote Joe Biden. Actually, it's because some billionaires I think work dang hard.

The guy has never worked an honest day's labor in his life! He's a life-long political hack that has been trying to gut medicaid, medicare, and social security for 40 years.

Not that your vote will matter in the least, since the democratic party is under absolutely no obligation to pay any heed whatever to whomever the democratic primary voters choose as their candidate. They will meet in their back rooms and choose whoever they think won't upset the Big Gravy Train (that will likely be Biden) and then they'll get on with their corrupt business as usual regardless of whether Biden or Trump wins. If Biden wins their bribe packets will increase, but their risk of being bounced out of office next election cycle increases, too. Whereas if Trump wins they'll keep on taking the current bribe amounts, and keep voting however their corporate sponsored lobbyists tell them to vote, and then they'll blame it all on Trump next election cycle. And we'll believe them, because we are idiots, and re-elect them.

Democrats have "Superdelegates" don't they? Folks who carry a lot of weight as to who gets the nomination?

Calif as independent, we don't get to vote in primaries.

I can't think of any reply that helps my side, but I still prefer Joe.

I don't believe that's correct.
Californians tend not to turn out and aren't paid much attention to, because their turn in the primaries is so late that the decision has usually been made by then.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think that although Democrats are doing good in midterm elections, Donald Trump is hard to bring down. That's why I still support Biden as the Democrat's best choice. Even if they lose anyway, it will save face for the nation the most.

Independents can definitely vote in primaries here, they just have to pick a party's ballot to vote on.

You were correct about our primary's usual lateness, until this year. We moved our primary up to Super Tuesday now. :)

Save face as in "It is rare that a sitting president loses to a challenger so we should send a weak challenger. That way it's less awkward when he loses." You are planning to lose? (I suspected that before but it's the first time that someone admits it.)

I was wrong! In California, voters registered as "No Party Preference" can only request a ballot with presidential candidates from these parties:

American Independent Party
Democratic Party
Libertarian Party

The Republicans, as usual, make it harder for people to vote.

Some billionaires have worked hard...well...smart anyway...or maybe been lucky...or inherited a fortune that just grew on it's own because of it's sheer size. I don't care if someone has a billion dollars or ten dollars.

I got back from caucusing tonight. Made a rather last-minute decision to go, and my precinct is... odd to say the least. Only one of the candidates I favor got any delegates, with two others I was utterly not expecting to get anything got the most. One of them I don't mind, but the other is... I just scratch my head at it.

Results are slow getting in.

How about Amy Klobuchar?

She's in third place right now in New Hampshire. She's not extreme like so many Democratic pundits are fearing would make them lose and she has a very long record of running things and winning in deep red areas!
