Funny you mention that, I just got this email from Babylonian Bee:
Dear Reader,
A few days ago, a CNN reporter who covers "disinformation" took shots at us, suggesting—as Snopes and others have in the past—that we're deliberately deceiving people by spreading misinformation and calling it "satire" in the fine print just so Facebook won't penalize us. This is a ridiculous allegation. We fired back, and the media has since picked up the story.
There's some rich irony here. The very people accusing us of spreading disinformation are themselves engaged in disseminating it. They're smearing us when they know better, and they're doing it because they aren't actually interested in safeguarding the truth; they care much more about controlling the narrative and the truths you're exposed to. We pose a threat not because we're misinforming people, but because we so often aim at the wrong targets. Our satire isn't safe; it's a flashlight pointed at the places they'd rather see kept in shadow.
They can complain all they want and try to impugn our motives, but the left doesn't own satire. We're not going anywhere, and every time they try to shut us up, our voice only grows louder. Thank you for doing your part to amplify it. We can't tell you how much we appreciate your sustaining support.
Regardless, you have too many people calling real news "fake" just because they don't like what's being reported, yet will believe and spread disinformation (or obvious satire) no matter how outlandish just because they like what's being said. Trumpers in my family do this **** all the time on FB.
You realize this is complete BS, right?
One of my favourites, which seems oddly appropriate for this thread:Funny you mention that, I just got this email from Babylonian Bee:

I did, but then saw the section and the source and did the quickest delete post ever.He does...he knows the Bee is a satirical magazine. It's in the jokes section of RF. I almost fired back at him myself before I remembered to check which thread I was looking at.
I only go on FB when prompted by my wife or mom to look at family pictures.I have a mate who does this on FB. Can't work out if he's just trying to stir lefties (very much his style) or believes some of the ridiculously inaccurate crap he posts.
To me, I just laugh (increasingly at him, since I suspect he's a True Believer, and that always strikes me as laughable). But then, I'm not on FB, so my feed isn't being polluted.
