Is there need for concern here?

Consider? Certainly. We all should consider the idea, at the very least.

There is no shortage of benefits.

Is there a version of that which doesn't require downloading a PDF from a suspicious looking URL?
I am not sure. But the text itself is not particularly informative.

It is a 12-page PDF liturgical guide for 2019 - for Catholic services, I believe.

It does not seem to include anything about dietary habits, though. I don't know why it was included in the OP. There does not seem even to exist a single reference to the famous episode of Daniel and his friends.

Reading this while eating a deer steak.. oops.

Oh its a Catholic thing? Good thing I'm not Catholic anymore. ;)

not if you want to keep your health

You can be very healthy as a vegetarian. You can even be a competitive athlete.
For example, I supplement smoothies, soups and stews with pea protein, so it’s easy to have a high protein vegetarian diet. The pea protein has an excellent amino profile.

I like a high protein, high fat diet, and plenty of fruit.
Every morning I have a drink made with a blend of maca, cacao, mucuna, ashwagandha.and pea protein. It is an amazing combination.

I do eat meat lately. Probably less than most people. I think it will be a rare luxury in the foreseeable future. Ecologically it is madness. I can live without it. I have been vegetarian at different times in my life. Also, it makes you a better cook.

and I made myself watch the documentary....

and yes.....athletes CAN perform well.....and with improvement!

but the digestive tract of a human is several feet shorter.....and we have only one stomach

grazing animals are our natural source of a good meal
we are built for it

going to grazing diets requires in depth reading and acquisition of what plant does what
TO you

you would spend the rest of your life earning a paycheck
and then double checking what you ate

you would have no time for anything else
