Ever been visited by a ghost?

I love cemeteries, love the dead, want to be a spirit. That's why I do things like this:

Spirits aren't always crazy. Some bring soothing joy, extacy, good luck, and peace.

( I jumped off a three story building trying to become a pure spirit and wound up in a wheelchair for 10 weeks. Didnt work! Never try to rush the process.)

Spirits do definitely speak and leave impressions, messages, and coincidences on us.

Have you ever had a ghost interfere, manipulate, intrude, intervene, or possess you?

When I was on a tour of Italy I visited a place that was thought to be haunted. That night I dreamt that I was under attack and warded off the attacker with a cross. Whether it was a ghost or an overactive subconscious I can't say.

when I was 12 or 13 I saw my nan who had left her body three months earlier. I was awake one summer's night unable to sleep when I was told to look to the corner of my bedroom, I did so and there stood my nan smiling at me with her hands clasped in front of her. She had a wonderful smile and she filled my bedroom with a most beautiful light.

I have seen a fair number of 'ghosts', and other strange phenomena.

But i have an interesting and true ghost story.

I have a friend who is an actor in a small theatre troop. He was a lifelong passionate believer in the supernatural and particularly ghosts.

One day recieved word from his agent that he had had been asked if he would do one of the ghost hunt type programs for TV. He's not been on TV (as an actor) before so was doubly excited at the job.

He duly arrived at what was billed as one of the most haunted castles in England and was handed the script.

He had a quick look around the spooky old castle before finding himself a quiet corner to study the script.

He didn't believe it. Re-read several times before it twigged... The ghosts were scripted, i.e. the actors had to react like they had seen ghosts, they [the ghosts] later be CGId into the film.

My friend walked out of the castle and went home, disappointed and so appalled that his belief was shattered.

Way to go those who pray on gullibility

My mother, who died when I was eighteen, appeared to me once, the vision was beautiful but when I tried to move I couldn't.

Can't happen to me. I have such a strong aura of scepticism that every paranormal activity ceases in my vicinity.

Well, technically 'Bigfoot' would be cryptozoological, not paranormal, unless it was the ghost of bigfoot. ;)

Could it have been a reenactment show? There was a show called "paranormal witness" where a person retells their experience as a sort of narration while actors play out scenes depicting what they've claimed to experience.
The ones that followed actual investigators were very slow paced and more often than not found mundane explanations for their clients' experiences. I remember reading where one team wanted out of their contract with the SyFy network because they were constantly being pressured to not be boring; i.e. exaggerate or fabricate their findings.
Even believers would raise an eyebrow in suspicion at the shows where unknown/unestablished investigators were frequently finding juicy evidence left and right.

When I was a teenager, I actually seemed to have an unwanted ghost hang around me. Family members seemed to have seen what was going on a couple times, or at least they said as much. So I got on the internet and looked up how to send it on its way and followed the instructions to for lack of better words, send it to the great beyond.

Now keep in mind I was going through a lot at the time. For all I know, I could have just had anxiety, and my family could have just have "saw" a couple things that weren't really there.

Now these days, I probably won't have such experiences in quite the same way, because I kind of trained myself how to be a spiritual person and to accept the good like God's healing power into my life, but to block out negative and unwanted forces.

Don't know but it was sold to John (my actor friend) as a live recording ( that could gave been his agent knowing John and pushing for commission) but i believe it was advertised as same.

What? Me worry?
Yes, Had my wife's best friend from childhood kick me in the back a couple of weeks after she passed. These two had planned their lives out since the fourth grade. They were going to marry twins in a double wedding, etc., etc. I showed up and messed everything up. The friend and I had a playful running battle for many years until she unexpectedly died. My wife was heart broken for a couple of weeks until one night I actually felt someone kick me in the back as I got into bed (and, no, it wasn't a muscle spasm, I could feel those hard "Mary Janes" when they hit me). I knew exactly who it was; the kick was a dead giveaway (pun intended). The friend was letting me know that she was okay and in a good place so I could pass this on to my wife. Any other manifestation we could have written off or explained away. She knew that I would know she got the last lick in. RIP, Kathy.

Wow! That's a true story?

Also, my last name is Janes and I have an immediate sister named Mary, so when I saw MARY JANES in your post I thought that was odd because I prayed for her today and it is very rare that I pray for her. Like maybe I prayed for her once in the last two years. Neither do I think about her hardly ever but she was on my heart more today. Interesting.

Ill pray for you too, BSM1

May BSM1 be obedient to God but also anoint him with a laughter Tulpa and some comedian spirits to tickle his funny bone so that he laughs hysterically in all situations, finds everything he see's amusing, have a sense of humor that is completely identical with God's (or at least not offensive to him) and may his punishment for sin in purgatory be ungodly amounts of laughing gas overdoses and receive frequent visits from the Capitol Hill Queens and his favorite dead celebrities, in Jesus name!

Now I just need you BSM to agree with it, because Scripture says when two are more are in agreement, it gets done (if it isn't a request that offends God). I don't see how this could be against his will. Laughter is good medicine.

Abraham's miracle son Isaac means "laughter" and Saint Louis De Montfort said Isaac represents God the Father and Rebecca prefigures Mother Mary. Isaac was blind and drunk as hell when he gave Jacob the wrong blessing reserved for Esau. Even a drunk blessing upon a schemer who breaks the rules to deceive and steal the blessing and destiny of his older brother to totally change the whole course of the world has power to effect countless generations, descendants, and the whole planet.

So to can your blessing have power towards myself, if you would but return the favor and give me a blessing! Please do so before I kill you! :imp:
