Not Again! Apparently Replacement Theology Kills.

Last week two Black assailants killed a cop in a cemetery, then drove a mile to a kosher grocery store and killed three Jews that were inside. After a long shootout with the cops, both the shooters were also killed. I've been in shock for days.

It bothered me that officials were so slow to label it a hate crime, because it was so obvious. The killers walked across the street, ignoring all sorts of people they could have killed, making a bee-line for the kosher market. IOW the kosher market was targeted. Though slow to announce it, officials finally said it was a hate crime, an act of domestic terrorism.

A quasi manifesto was left in the van, three pages long, filled with hatred towards cops and Jews. All sorts of guns, and a pipe bomb were also left in the van. It was obvious that this was only the beginning of what they intended to be a killing spree. Next door to the grocery store was a school, with all sorts of little children hiding on the second floor. I'm terrified that would have been next. Baruch Hashem for the police, who stopped the carnage at its beginning.

One of the shooters was associated with a group called the Black Hebrew Israelites. It is not clear whether he had officially joined, but he espoused their ideas. The group is a cult that is on the terrorist watch list. They believe that whites are the devil, that Jews are fake Israel, and that Blacks, Hispanics, and Native Americans are the True Israel. In other words, a form of Replacement Theology.

I have always said that Replacement Theology (also known as Supersessionism) is the manure that fertilizes anti-Semitism. It's typical form is to believe that physical Israel has passed away, and the Church is now Israel, replacing physical Israel, and inheriting Israel's promises. Until the holocaust, this was the typical belief of Christians. However, after the Shoah, most Christian churches recognized it as one of the reasons for the deaths of the six million Jews, and repudiated it (most notably the Catholic Church). Today, the doctrine is held only by evangelicals and fundamentalists and fringe groups. The RT of the Black Hebrew Israelites is an extreme version, but it shows the connection to anti-Semitism. After all, if they are the true Israel, what are Jews except pretenders?

It seems like every time I turn around lately, there is another shooting of Jews here in America. Pittsburgh. Poway. Now Jersey City. The USA is supposed to be the safest place for Jews, and it doesn't feel very safe anymore.

I think there is a missing link here, for example I think that for all their faults Jehovah’s Witness do not kill Jews, and they interpret the 144,000 Christians to be the true Israel.

There has to be something extra added to the beliefs which makes it necessary to KO those seen as pretenders, and I would think that missing link is what kills, not the supersessionism itself.

Thoughts?

I understand that Rashida Tlaib went as far as to ridiculously call it a white supremacy crime (when in fact, considering BHI beliefs, it's the reverse).

Sadly enough, there's a video that came out of a reporter talking to some local African Americans and asking them about the shooting, and they...blamed the Jews for getting shot..!

That's why I don't say that supercessionism itself is anti-Semitic (no matter how repugnant I find it). I just say it fosters the growth of anti-Semitism.

And I agree that JW's are not anti-Semitic.

Yes, it's always our fault for being persecuted. Rolls eyes.

I've seen some of the ideology online where folks believe that major people groups with lighter complexion were actually folks of darker complexion originally. these people groups include Israelites, Egyptians, and even native American tribes. I've only really seen these beliefs forming in America, though.

I always thought it was just harmless delusion, but apperently it'sbeen taken too far by these folks.

Jehovah witnesses were one of the religious groups that actively helped the Jews during the Nazi persecution and they were considered undesirables as well.

This does not surprise me, what is interesting is that had they been white we would have had numerous media outlets raging about white supremacy and (I hate to inject it but they would have) how this was partially Trumps fault.

In other words, a form of Replacement Theology.
This is really missing the point though; the Abrahamic religions are divided over the identity of Yeshua (Deuteronomy 32:15); if we use his real name Yehoshua ben Yoseph, the Tanakh makes far more sense.

What we need to understand in Ezekiel 22:3 is that Pharisaic Jews (John, Paul, and Simon) made up 'jesus' (יסס - Isaiah 51:8); at the same time rejecting the 'Salvation from God' (Yeshua - H3444) in the process.

Thus according to Moses's Curse in Deuteronomy 28:36 because the Sanhedrin rejected the Messiah, and created their own idol, this is their own doing.

This is part of the Curse of Moses (Deuteronomy 28), that the other nations become a burden to our people; this can be fixed by listening to the texts properly, where the Curse can be lifted by accepting its policies - Else everyone other than the Enlightened Saints are removed in a universal Holy Quantum Fire (Deuteronomy 29:19-27).

The problem is: it was not optional to accept Moses's statements, and claim we follow him; he was smarter than that, and set everyone up in policy (Deuteronomy 31:24-29).

Blaming the naive Christians & Muslims for accepting what Moses prophesied (Deuteronomy 32:21), is the problem in Rabbinic thinking (Deuteronomy 28:28-29).

Currently Jews have a terrible comprehension of the Bible, where they've virtually rejected the Tanakh; where many are not even facing towards what the Source of reality is as Moses predicted (Deuteronomy 32:15-22); as they've been indoctrinated from an early age to follow Rabbinic literature instead.

Most of this world are being indoctrinated into some form of cult like mentality in some way; rather than being taught wisdom to discern.

We all need to wake up, and learn to stop playing follow false leaders; where we learn to question what God states by all messengers as a whole, if we want to survive.

In my opinion. :innocent:

Tell this to the people who got killed, or to their families...
The scripture says the Messiah should get up to the highest place in the sky (Internet), to teach Good News to the people of Zion (Isaiah 40:9).

Here is the highest place we can get to, as a Symbol to our people; other than maybe YouTube, which can happen later.

I've got a Twitter, yet don't use it for global politics like King Trump of Zionism; as it doesn't have enough space to be exegetical in posts.

We regret the loss of anyone, and the Source will restore 'everyone who is of Source' (Israel) at Judgement Day (Deuteronomy 30:1-10).

In my opinion. :innocent:

Violence in this case is directed towards Jews, and the ignorance of choice is replacement theology. This Black Hebrew thing is a rumor gone wild and then adopted by some crazy people with a truck. Its a side effect of racial disparity and income disparity. Both lead to ignorance, family problems and a cycle of problems. I have a related gripe.

In America we need more balance between diversity and schism. We need a more friendly, open, public culture. I think what I suggest may sound a like it comes from the side, but what about instead of trying merely to argue against replacement theology in America what if we encourage and incentivize friendships and marriages between people of different wealth classes and possibly racial classes? We also popularize public dancing and encourage people meeting. We build public squares. We establish protocols for speaking to others in different groups in a friendly way, so its not such a weird and unknown field. We have public schools, so lets teach it in public schools. If I say 'Hello' am I flirting or merely being polite? Am I selling something? Nobody knows. Colleges are just packed with scared children who can't say hello to anyone they don't know. In this kind of situation you're going to reinforce ignorance, separation. Yes people are allowed by law to greet each other. There are dating services and attempts to help people meet; but its all somewhat shoddy. Relationships are seen as minefields. Its dangerous to meet people. It feels dangerous to speak to someone who's not in your class, especially if you're a shy person (and many people are). We have coed public education, but that just seems to be very awkward. All of this contributes to the kind of problem that lets some stupid ideas turn into fighting.

So it was a 'race war', Jewish style.

Well, Jews can be and certainly are just as racist as any other religious group, so I suppose it shouldn't be surprising that in a time when racism and bigotry are on the rise, and politicians are fanning the flames for personal gain, that it would effect the Jewish community the same as it does everyone else. So now you guys have your violent nut-jobs, too.

By the way, have you been ignoring all the heinous and murderous behavior against Palestinians being perperated by Israelis, lately?

I am so, so sorry. What a horrible thing. I didn't know that Black Hebrew Israelites were opposed to Jews and Israel.

I live where Jews are about 40% and this year its Hanukkah only. NO Christmas.. No Christmas decorations. Hanukkah decorations everywhere. Everyone is still in shock.. My Jewish neighbors are furious. .. and very outspoken about it. Its a good community of seniors.. We get along very well and help each other.. We respect each other.

I don't know what is happening.... or why. But its not good IMO.

What are you talking about? Black Hebrew Israelites are not Jewish. These are non-Jews killing Jews.

Whitney Houston was a black Hebrew Israelite.. I don't think she was a superssessionist. I did read some time ago that Black Hebrew Israelites believed they were Jews since the Queen of Sheba.

Maybe this will provide some information.

9 Things You Should Know About Black Hebrew Israelites

May 19, 2017 · 1. Black Hebrew Israelites (also called African Hebrew Israelites, Black Jews, Black Hebrews, Black Israelites, or Hebrew Israelites) is an umbrella term for various religious sects and congregations that believe that people of color, usually African Americans, are descendants of a lost tribe of ancient Israelites.

2.
From the 17th to 20th century, African-Americans’ identification with Judaism was informed, as Edith Bruder and Tudor Parfitt say, “by the social and political orientations of black people in the United States and was often embedded in response to discrimination.” But in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, certain African Americans began not only to identify spiritually with the ancient Israelites but also to claim they were their direct physical descendants. This led to the creation of several factions of Black Hebrew Israelites (hereafter BHIs) that spread across America, and later to Africa and Israel.

3. BHI groups do not align themselves with Judaism. Instead, as Jacob S. Dorman explains, they “creatively manipulate traditions and ideas gleaned from a wide range of sources: Holiness/Pentecostal Christianity, the British Anglo-Israelite movement, Freemasonry, Mind Power, Theosophy, Judaism, the occult, and African American Christianity’s deep association with the Hebrews of the Old Testament.” African-American BHI groups also have no significant history with Ethiopian Jews (aka Beit Yisrael or Falahas) even though, as Dorman notes, “New York’s main body of black Israelites called themselves Ethiopian Jews from the 1930s to 1960s.”

So saith the White Hebrew Israelites.
Black Hebrew Israelites - Wikipedia

"Black Hebrew Israelites are not associated with the mainstream Jewish community, and do not meet the standards which are used to identify people as Jewish by the Jewish community."

Yeah, totally so saith the White Hebrew Israelite, except Jews aren't just white. There is no "Jewish skin color". Furthermore, ask Black Israelites if they have any relation to modern Jews and they'll deny such a thing, because they have their own standards to who's an Israelite.

I don't know who that is, but regardless, that's not what I was saying. Those two shooters were non-Jews, going into a kosher store to kill Jews. That's what happened.
