Revelation 11:15
Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet. There were loud voices in heaven, saying, 'The kingdom of the world now belongs to our Lord and to his Anointed, and he will reign forever and ever.'

When the future apocalyptic ‘Seventh Trumpet blows’, Jesus takes over as King and Ruler of the world. Under Messianic Reign, Jesus will Rule on earth, with and through, His Church, the Catholic Church.

Do we Catholics agree on this?

Luke 22:25
He said to them, I confer a kingdom on you, just as my Father has conferred one on me, that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Revelation 22:16
"It is I, Jesus, who have sent my angel to give you this testimony about the churches. I am the Root and Offspring of David, the Morning Star shining bright."

Revelation 2:26
To the victor, who keeps to my ways until the end, I will give authority over the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. Like clay vessels will they be smashed, just as I received authority from my Father. And to him I will give the morning star.

2 Samuel 23:3
These are the last words of David:

The God of Israel spoke; of me the Rock of Israel said, He that rules over men in justice, that rules in the fear of God, Is like the morning light at sunrise on a cloudless morning, making the greensward sparkle after rain.

All Christians believe in a sense of a universal catholic church under the Lordship of Jesus. The question has more to do with the nature of what is the universal catholic church.

Any Catholics have opinions? I know that many, maybe even the majority of Catholics, see apocalyptic times as the end of everything on earth. However, the big event of all apocalyptic scriptures, from Jesus' Gospels, Revelation, and Old Testament, is Jesus Second Coming to Rule the world. The world does not end upon Jesus Return. The world gets fixed and we go into the 'Golden Era for Mankind', which the Blessed Mother has promised is coming.

Revelation 12
...Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels battled against the dragon. Although the dragon and his angels fought back, they were overpowered and lost their place in heaven. The huge dragon, the ancient serpent known as the devil or Satan, the seducer of the whole world, was driven out; he was hurled down to earth and his minions with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have salvation and power come, the reign of our God and the authority of his Anointed One.

Revelation 10
'There shall be no more delay. At the time when you hear the seventh angel blow his trumpet, the mysterious plan of God shall be fulfilled, as he promised to his servants the prophets.'

Revelation 11:15

Not being a swivel-eyed zealot, I do not think any of this should be taken literally. The end of the world will most likely be when the Earth is fried by the sun, as it becomes a red giant. Whether humanity, or descendant species, will still be there, God alone knows.
