Trigger warning: I'm bisexual, and want to support LGBTQI+ rights.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, and Plus! The problem is, I am closeted, and don't know anyone in real like, besides my therapist, who is accepting. I don't care if i marry a man, or a woman, as long as my partner and I are in love, and have compatibility, in all areas of our relationship. I am sorry to the community, for my former bigotry.

If you don't mind my asking, how do you think your friends and family would react if they knew?
My church friends would want me to deny who I am, and my Mom would would think I am confused. I tried to tell my Mom, but she was either silent, or said i was confused. My Mom was born in 1951, so no surprise. My cousin, is on my side.

Your mom is right. You are deceiving and tricking yourself, but it's a choice you are making. For some reason you think it's cool to do this. It's not.

Who is she hurting? What laws is she breaking?

Part of a criteria of something being permissible or good to do (either or) is that if everyone does it, there is no harm.

Sure, someone may wonder, why can't they receive a million dollars from the government. But the government can't afford to give everyone a million dollars.

This how good and evil is assessed. It's not only if a few people doing it brings no harm, is the consequence of what harm comes about if it increases to a mass scale.

Now if no free-will is involved, and they can't push themselves out of such thoughts, then it's not evil. However, if free-will is involved, than there are great dangers if people deem it permissible. The consequences is that the traditional family structure and whole purpose of dynamic dance between males and females and God creating them to compliment one another, will be destroyed.

This is because without suppressing it and seeing it disgusting and vile, society will eventually think it's good to be bisexual.

Because like homosexuality, bisexuality is a fraud. Right? No one can truly be more attracted or equally attracted to someone of the same sex. In god's world, unlike talking snakes , donkeys, and shrubbery, such an aberration is impossible.

Don't strawman me. Another reason, is because, it's better and more beautiful for a male to be attracted to a female and female to a male, the complimentary way we are physically, mentally, and spiritually. To choose something so much not as good as that when given this option, is a big injustice to oneself. But what is worse, is telling all humans, they don't choose. We choose almost everything. And our brain structures according to choices. It's neuro-plastic. And can be remolded.

Your church friends care about you while the people who acknowledge your choice only seem to. They wish to justify their opposition and rebellion and following their caprice. They wish to misguide you and don't care if you lose God and everything in the next world as you get lost and lost when the holy books give mental clarity.

Like masturbation and sinning I suspect.

Like eating ice cream I imagine. A few people eating ice cream isn't bad, but if a lot of people eat ice cream all holy hell will break out.

Now if no free-will is involved, and they can't push themselves out of such thoughts, then it's not evil.
Now this one you got right.

So how about telling us what's so bad about bisexuality.

I already did. Morals never work in a way that "if I do it what harm can come about", it's always you have to apply "what happens if a lot of people or most start doing it".

This how morals work.

Of course, even a few people doing it is harmful, because, they make it seem okay. Then advocate it's not free-will and brain-wash the population that it's not. Once it reaches mass scale, the next stage will not be that, they will all acknowledge the choice, but will justify their choice.

I'm going to just say that I disagree with your world view and say that it seems harmful and oppressive to me. I don't want to derail the OP, so I will just leave it at that.

And everything has limits and a purpose. IT's good to enjoy sex, but when done in a meaningful matter.

This is why masturbation is harmful to society. It makes them do the act in a way that they have no restraint on their desires and pleasure, when that pleasure is meant as a trust. Then they become hasty, and all hell breaks lose.

It's a trust and it's because kids come about it, family comes about it, a wife and a husband are imprisoned to one another through it and will make their lives hell or blissful. This has consequences on a grand picture as well.

Why is that husbands and wives don't accept their partner cheating?

It's because yes it's fun, it's pleasurable, but it's a sacred trust. When you took that marriage oath, it was a grand oath.

Even towards your spouse, you are to honor them and have fun true, but to honor them and speak them gentle kind honorable words.

We aren't a joke, we humans. Life is not a joke. And what makes us go away from doing things rationally and purposefully should be shunned, because, if we lose restraint, we will waste our lives away in all fun and games, while justice is yet to be established and lost lives are crying against us.

Do you have any ideas about what you might do to support those people’s rights, if you weren’t closeted? If you fantasize and roleplay some things you might do, it might give you some ideas about what you actually can do. Some ideas that come to my mind:
- Getting to know some of those people better personally, online,
- Improving your own practice of the attitudes and behavior that you want to promote.

More like, that's presumably how your morality tends to work. Moral judgement based on the harm (or lack there-of) something causes aren't rare at all.

Gay people are not part of a secret scheme to make everyone gay, lmao. Where did you even get that idea from?

You can believe those things and apply that to your own life, but why should other people's sex & dating lives be any of your concern? It doesn't affect you at all.

Citation needed.

Just because people masturbate doesn't mean they have no self-control. Some people are just more prone to addictive behavior than others, but the problem there isn't masturbation by itself.
It's a trust and it's because kids come about it, family comes about it, a wife and a husband are imprisoned to one another through it and will make their lives hell or blissful. This has consequences on a grand picture as well.
They shouldn't have to do any of that if they don't want to. If people don't want kids from the get-go there are ways to prevent it, and people don't and shouldn't have to stay with people they had sex with if they don't want to. It's entirely possible to have casual sex without winding up tied down to something as a result.
Why is that husbands and wives don't accept their partner cheating?
Because for many one of the boundaries is that they want an exclusive relationship.
It's because yes it's fun, it's pleasurable, but it's a sacred trust. When you took that marriage oath, it was a grand oath.
It isn't like that for everyone.

The things you mentioned don't require a person to be irrational and have no restraint to happen. It depends on the person.

I'm glad your therapist is accepting. At least you have one person to talk to.

How we control and restraint our desires not only affects us, but affects people all around the world. At the OP, God leaves nothing unexplained, if it was permissible, God would be the first to advocate it and teach it and honor it. Look to God to guide and don't rely on conjecture or flowery words of misleading people of caprice.

You are to fight the good fight and not settle for anything but God, his chosen ones, and the paradise meant for you.
