2. they say world overpopulation is OK because the Old Testament said "be fruitful and multiply" as a "commandment from God" ... the Christian thing would to be unselfish by adopting children in need of homes and not make babies purely out of gratification of one's ego

3. they are against contraception...something that helps the world overpopulation situation

4. they are against same-sex relationships, sex outside of (opposite sex) marriage or any sexual relationship that doesn't potentially make babies

Maybe they should encourage wise stewardship and inventions to manage the Earth at the same time.

They don't think the church should align themselves with new knowledge. They are becoming irrelevant to the young.

Christianity often lives in an ancient desert world with hemp plants, sheep herders and camels. That's the picture of the bible. Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492 and the world was supposed to become much more enlightened from then on.
