Within the space of one week, we have had a thread criticizing RF for being "too tolerant" of religion and religious members and then another for "endorsing Islamophobia."

I just want to say that after nearly a decade on this forum, it is always both amusing and a sign that the forum is doing something right if extremism on different sides of the belief-atheism spectrum makes itself visible due to being upset at RF's diverse nature.

Throwback to that one time when we moderated two members' posts and they both thought we were biased against their respective groups. Identity politics is such a valuable comic prop on the Internet. :D

Frankly, I tend to avoid such prejudice by hating everyone equally.....

At some point or another, I've been criticised for being an Islamophobic Muslim, right-wing leftist liberal Christian atheist (albeit not at the same time).

Our shrewder posters have seen past these silly attempts at labelling though and realised I'm just a massive ****.

For the record, I myself am NEITHER opposed to tolerance on RF, nor to Muslims on RF. However, I am strongly and staunchly opposed to people on RF having fun.

There's only one rational course of action here. Each month, post an announcement that a particular group is the whipping boy. That group is the only one people are allowed to criticise during that month, then it switches to somebody else.

It's the only way to make sure nobody gets left out. It would also mean that people have to learn about more than two or three religions/philosophies/political affiliations if they want to join in on the fun.

Try speaking about and voicing FACTS about trans and homosexuals and see how "tolerant" they truly are. I am not talking about spreading hate or throwing out insults, i am talking about biological truths and facts

Ok, you're banned.

...For two consecutive lifetimes.

Hear! Hear!

Without RF, I'd have no place to vent, nor would boucoup of the crazies who show up around here. True enough, ... RF ain't for the faint of heart, but I ain't complainin': Ain't gotten banned yet and I've only got 3 "warnings",

Man, I like this.
I'm picturing a wheel of terror getting spun each month, on a live feed.
I'm picturing lights!
I'm picturing cameras!
I'm picturing @Revoltingest in a sequinned dress!

Err...I feel kinda sick...

I love FACTS. They leave facts for dead. Not to mention they're easier to find, since they don't need to hold as much facty-ness.
