Three Australian spies captured in Iran

Three Australian spies were captured after spying on Iran. I don't quite understand why Australia feels the need to secretly spy on Iran, when Iran hasn't really done anything to Australia. This is really a slap in Hassan Rouhani's face, and I hope Australia learns it's lesson from this.

here are the spies that were captured and detained.

My hope is that Iran charges them to the full extent of the law. Especially little missy on the top there, claiming to be a 'school teacher'.

Of course--and this is said with absolutely no knowledge about this case--it is entirely possible that the three were arrested on trumped up charges...it does happen in totalitarian nations sometimes...gives some publicity, and an opportunity for some grandstanding and leverage in international negotiations...

I highly doubt that. Iran has a highly sophisticated governing policy, and I see no reason why Iran would need to "trump up" charges against anyone.

If you look at their pictures closely, it's pretty obvious they are spies... You can just tell.

The only country that exists now that could be called totalitarian is North Korea. Iran's government is authoritarian but Iranians have more freedom than, say, Saudi Arabia. They don't even allow churches or synagogues in SA.

DEFINITELY the top one. But I don't think it's in the eyes... it's in the smile that you can tell that she is definitely a spy!

How so? Islamic countries arrest many innocent peoples and claim they are spies.

I'm sorry, Shunya. I have to come clean with you. I've been pulling everyone's leg, and having a good time doing it... :D

Yes, I'm sure they're not spies. I'm sure Iran is as deceitful as they've always been, and I hope the Australians are set free ASAP.

Sorry for doing that. :)

I always wondered what it would feel like to play the 'other side'... My conscience wouldn't let me continue. :)

She's a beauty... I hope she wasn't the type to doubt how dangerous the Iranian government can be -thinking it was propoganda.

...Surely she would have known better being a University speaker.

What? Me worry?

Well, you had me going. Now I'm doubting that they're even Austrian...

Did any of them have a shoe phone? Or were they caught using the cone of silence? Did any of them say "missed it by that much" or "sorry about that chief"?
