Question to two different religons that I have heard leave their bodies to talk to jesus

I have heard that two religions Eckankar and Gnosticism. Leave their bodies to talk to Jesus. If a Jehovah's witness or methodist would come up to you and ask you to prove to them you are going out of the body to talk to Jesus what would you tell them? If Eckankar and Gnosticism people are talking to Jesus they could ask Jesus to take them out of their bodies to prove it to them. I don't know if I have a spirit that leaves my body and goes to heaven. I have a problem with the idea of the spirit. Half of me believes Methodism might be right. And the other half of me believes Jehovah's witnesses might be right.

What does the Bible say Frank?......what God says is more important than any human.
There is no spirit to leave and go anywhere. The devil can only fool people who doubt. Put your doubts to rest and the answers become simple.

James 1:5-8...
"5 So if any one of you is lacking in wisdom, let him keep asking God, for he gives generously to all and without reproaching, and it will be given him. 6 But let him keep asking in faith, not doubting at all, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and blown about. 7 In fact, that man should not expect to receive anything from Jehovah; 8 he is an indecisive man, unsteady in all his ways."

Where do you see yourself being present in your body?

Soul/spirit inhabiting a body?

So, I have had OBEs. An experience that feels real as physically real as any conscious experience.

Scientology also teaches that an Operating Thetan normally exists outside of the body. I think the common response would be you have to experience the truth of such an experience for yourself. Certainly to understand the sense of physical reality such an experience can have.

The proof is in having the experience.
IMO enough religious conviction can create these experience. Maybe not in everyone but in enough people that they accept it's reality.

For a person who has never had such experiences, it is hard for them to understand the sense of reality they can have. For those who have, it is easy to understand how someone could accept this as reality.

Are more exorcisms "needed" in Italian girls? Do more Mexicans get the name Jesus. Hey I'm Jesus. Begin the shock therapy! What a pointless cultural exercise.

St. Paul had a similar problem. Talking about himself in the third person, he said he "knew a man" who in this life had ascended to heaven and heard ineffable angelic speech. He said of the experience, he didn't know if it was "in or out of the body".

Classically, the Christian Jesus is said to live in believers' hearts, so there is no reason for them to ascend to heaven, i.e., leave their body, in order to experience Jesus.
