Lets suppose Trump loses in 2020.

As a conservative, which Democratic candidate would you prefer to win?
Knowing that this person will be president for 4 years at least and we want America to be as successful as possible.

I like Kamala Harris, she seems like most conservative among them. Even though publically she is supporting the liberal platform, she is still a law and order kind of gal.

I'd even like Bernie Sanders to win. Even though I expect Bernie to go full commie, at least it would be interesting.

Joe Biden has my vote at this point. At this time I think he has the best chance of beating Trump.

It's a tricky one. All the bad experiences in the past elections make it so hard to know who's not going to be the crazy person in office.

I'm moderate conservative, and I don't know who to believe... I do kind'a like Kamala Harris as well being more center. Bernie... no. Suspect it to be a really bad idea.

And I fear that Shawn Rosenberg is right about our democracy imploding.

Besides, Trump will be reelected anyway. *shrugs*

I like the more Libertarianesque candidates. Like Yang and Gabbard. Which are the only 2 I think has a chance against Trump. Anyone else will fall victim to him in the election.

I'm voting for Tulsi Gabbard in the primaries. She just hits all my sweet spots in terms of policies and I love that she's not only a combat vet, she's still in the service. She just has the most integrity in my eyes and she can unite both the left and the right in her opposition to these globalist wars for profit we've been sucked into as well as avoiding identity politics of both the "angry minority" and "angry white straight Christian" varieties.

I like Elizabeth Warren, I just don't know if she can be aggressive enough to beat Trump.

Part of the problem. Trump plays dirty. Creates confusion and chaos. Not sure if any other candidate can lower themselves to his level, but if someone could, not sure if that would be a candidate I'd vote for.

But can a person not be aggressive back at him and win?

The Constitutional Republic form of government is much to valuable to squander in having one of these dolts as President.

We might survive with massive Republican majorities in both houses of congress.

Biden will not win. He has peaked out with the alleged moderates, so all the socialist support will go in the end to princess liawatha, the bogus Indian from Massachusetts.

She fits the bill, female, full of promises with no plans to fulfill them, supports every wacky lefty cause that pops up, perfect.

It will be the most bizarre election, with the most bizarre dem candidate in US history. It will make the two bizarro candidates in 2016 look normal.

If a dimocrat wins in 2020, the dismantling of America will gather speed again, under a foul dank economy.

Please. Did you watch Kavanaughś confirmation hearings ? The democrats put on display their putrid affinity for playing foul.

Every possible dem candidate has used dirty tactics and will use them to the hilt in an election.

Trump is no worse than any of them.

There are dirtbags on both sides, no argument there, but Trump has taken politics to a new level of griefing.

For many years, each party has been part of dragging everyone else down, and Trump is just one notch better in debasement than anyone before. I fear to win, they have to compete on his level, one level lower, and next election even lower. It's a competition of how low you can go.

But democrats are supposed to be kind, angelic, socialites and republicans argumentative, blockhead, hillbillies.

Biden is the only centrist candidate among this crop of Democrats contenders, with the necessary broad based appeal. He is the only one not pandering to the far left. This means he would have the best shot to get the moderate and blue color Trump Democrats back on board. The far left would get in board, no matter who wins, so they can beat Trump. Biden is he only one who can bring in the middle vote.

However, Biden has some very serious legal and political problems about to be exposed. These are connected to shady business deals for his son, with China and Ukraine. Biden also has a direct connection to the failed Clinton and Obama collusion delusion and soft coup. This spying and coup was far worse than Watergate, and is about to be exposed for what it was; indictments. It will set a new benchmark for corruption, that will hard for Biden to shake off.

The failed coup also plagues most of the current establishment Democrats, including Pelosi. This vulnerability has resulted in the far left being able to take over the party. The far left were not directly involved in the planning of the coup, but supported it. They will escape all legal jeopardy.

This split in the party leadership and party loyalty, will make it hard for the Democrats, since the moderates and the blue color Democrats voters, who voted for Trump and who would vote for an honest Biden, will not turn out to vote for the far left replacement candidate, when Biden has to drop out to defend his legal problems. This anticipatory pressure is getting to Biden; gaffs.

Yes, get low and dirty, that's the ticket!

Seriously, is that really why people think Trump won? Of course, it's not, it was because of his "America first" platform... That's what people want.

Don't know, maybe.

I'm just thinking out loud (using my keyboard of course). Since the last presidential election, my prediction skills are lacking, to say the least. I fully expected Hillary to win in a landslide, and I was not in the minority. The only person I know personally to predict Trump winning was an old truck driver. He said that every state he drove to and interacted with people that they were excited about Trump. I thought he was wrong until the election results came in. I wonder how many of those same folks are still excited about him.

Well, the majority didn't. Electoral college got him in.

He got a lot of attention from media, and an extreme amount from opposing media, mostly because of his theatrics.
