Should we believe the experts or the politicians regarding climate change?

Sure there is.
The fossil fuel industry doesn't have to pay for waste disposal, they just dump the exhaust on everyone.

How long would fossil fuels remain the economically viable power source, if cars couldn't have exhaust pipes, power plants couldn't have smoke stacks, and plastics manufactures had to remove their products from the biosphere, homes couldn't have....

Or else they were charged a fee comparable to the cost of removing and sequestering their waste products?
Biodegradable products and renewable energy sources would become the economically feasible resources.

You should find this informative even though it is from 2014.

You don't listen to a politician on climate change for the same reason you don't make an appointment with a plumber for heart surgery.

Even common sense should tell one that climate change is taking place and that the overall temperature of Earth is increasing. But some would rather take the words of politicians and some of the scientists that have a vested interest in the denial of the facts.

The scientists with a vested interest are the ones being finically supported by those politicians that are denying the facts.

When 98% of climate scientists conclude that global warming is happening and that it is mostly caused by human endeavors, we well know what the "facts" are. We've known for over a century that higher levels of both CO2 and methane gas produce a "greenhouse effect", and both of those levels are measurably up over the last century.

I refer you to the video in post #182

It is solar activity, which is the dominant factor, not CO2.

CO2 is the innocent party. CO2 is good for the Earth.

It has become another religion where no discussion is allowed.

It is a political control mechanism. Look at the Yellow Vests in France.

Even children are being used as propaganda props.

Since I was in the scientific field all my adult life, I'm going with science, not "conspiracy theories".
